I wouldn’t rule it out either. It is a long way between now and Nov. 2012. It might be that any Republican could beat Obama. Obama might have a Dem. challenger. Anything can happen. The economy, the war in Afghanistan, other unknown events etc. etc. may change the equation one way or the other. One thing for sure is if Palin is the Rep. nominee, the media will go nuts trying to defeat her.
Kirsten is such a lovely girl.
I wouldn’t rule out Hillary beating Obama and then Palin beating Hillary. That would be a glorious year.
Note: I am NOT a Hillary fan, but at least she doesn’t hate America. She would be proud to have a strong America as long as she held absolute power over the most minute details of our lives. Obama in contrast hates America, despises Americans, and loathes success, which makes him one of the few politicians even lower than Hillary.
Back when Obama was running against Hillary, I was rooting for her as I knew what a dangerous guy Obama was.
We need DeMint to run.Is he solid on immigration enforcement?
It used to be that the Democrats would all line up to make fun of Palin.
After November 2, the only Democrats who make fun of her are ex- 'Air America' buffoons like Ron Reagan, Jeanne Garofalo and Ed Shultz.
Palin is like the person who got picked on in the school yard until she kicked some butt after which the rest of the kids backed off in fear and respect.
DeMint is essentially flawless by my standards except that he says quite clearly that he doesn’t plan to run.
Interesting clip, the Biden soundbite is just hilarious.
Kirsten Powers has the characteristics of a conservative if she would just use it...she already is the exception to the “Janeane Garofolo Rule” when it comes to physical attributes of Liberals. I saw her on Hannity last night and he had her with the “deer in the headlights” look again...
Lib commentators have to start to see there’s no future (i.e. money) in supporting dumb lib policies. Dich Morris, Pat Caddell and Doug Schoen have already jumped that shark...
If not 2012 at least 2016
Per www.ontheissues.org, DeMint is very strong in immigration issues, among others:
Voted NO on continuing federal funds for declared “sanctuary cities”. (Mar 2008)
Voted NO on comprehensive immigration reform. (Jun 2007)
Voted YES on declaring English as the official language of the US government. (Jun 2007)
Voted NO on eliminating the “Y” nonimmigrant guestworker program. (May 2007)
Voted YES on building a fence along the Mexican border. (Sep 2006)
Voted NO on establishing a Guest Worker program. (May 2006)
Voted NO on allowing illegal aliens to participate in Social Security. (May 2006)
Voted NO on giving Guest Workers a path to citizenship. (May 2006)
Voted YES on extending Immigrant Residency rules. (May 2001)
Rated 100% by FAIR, indicating a voting record restricting immigration. (Dec 2003)
Rated 91% by USBC, indicating a sealed-border stance. (Dec 2006)
Zero tolerance for border crossing via increased prosecution. (Mar 2008)
Government services in English only. (Mar 2008)
Declared English the official language of the US. (Jan 1999)
She’ll be banned by NPR now.
Kirsten Powers is also for the recently passed national heath care bill and wants to include a public option. It will be difficult/impossible to make her a adopt a conservative outlook, even though she is not repugnant to look at like Bahar and Garofalo.
I figured she was the Dem attempt to counter at least the looks of
Coulter and Ingraham.
While certainly smarter than most Dems in the media, I doubt that
she could do little better than Obama straying off the daily
DNC fax.
As such, on this comment of Kirsten, I think she's pulling a rope-a-dope.
Nothing against Palin, but I don't think she could make it against the
dwindling, but overt pro-Obama LSM, and the white-shoe shod
RNC.
And Palin would have to deal with the wannabee Huckabees, and
the overall general mischief making in the primaries.
There's just too much stacked against her, and virtually nothing
against BHO, including his record.
Heck, even the RNC wouldn't hold BHO's record, or lack thereof,
against him...
You may be right. I suspect that, while Kirsten is politically liberal, she might be an orgasmic Republican.
I wouldn’t rule out Kirsten becoming a Conservative in about 10 years.
It happened to me after the sophomorism wore off.
Yep; but they are both dangerous. Have the same goals and work for the same people who want to destroy America.
She actually stood up for NPR and wants to keep public funding. Or maybe she did that so that she won't be banned?
