It looks like amnesty will make another attempt to get through Congress.
Harry Reid promised to bring back the DREAM Act in the lame duck session and if the rumors are true Reid will make good on his word.
Hispanic Congressmen gathered together with President Obama to discuss strategies to revive the DREAM Act and jam it through Congress. They could be working on other important issues like extending the Bush tax cuts, but providing amnesty for millions of illegal immigrations is apparently more important. After all, Democrats need to throw their liberal base another bone quickly before the new congressional session. I guess health care, financial reform, bailouts, stimulus packages, and government takeovers were not enough, but what is enough for progressives?
From My San Antonio:
Congressional Hispanic Caucus leaders huddled with President Barack Obama on Tuesday to discuss immigration issues and the lame-duck Congress, but no clear strategy emerged.
Obama and Hispanic Democrats reiterated their support for the DREAM Act, which would provide a path for citizenship for immigrant youths illegally brought into the United States before they were 16, and both called for the House and Senate to vote on the measure before Congress adjourns for the year.

What amazes me is that so many people do not understand the DemonRats number one priority: ADVANCE THE CAUSE OF SOCIALISM. Once you recognize that fact, everything else is NOT UNEXPECTED.
In this case, the cause of socialism is served by causing the Republicans to go on the record as being “anti-Hispanic” in preparation for the 2012 elections. Amnesty consolidates a reliable voting bloc.
DemonRats are not interested in tax cuts. Tax cuts do not extend the scope and power of government. When are conservative commentators like this bozo gpoing to start understanding the obvious?

Thank you all so much for turning out to vote for me earlier this month. Especially those of you who came all the way from Mexico - I truly appreciate your support and look forward to serving you interests in the future. Muchas gracias, amigos!
With great affection,
Senator Harry Reid
It’s all about winning and the votes. Their ship is sunk if things stay the same or worse until 2012. They need all the votes they can “dream” up.
We have to get the rest of the population to wake up about the huge threat illegals are to our nation.
It's so discouraging as I watch my stupid state give more to the illegals than our own citizens (in state college tuition to freakin' illegals!!)....I don't know how to fight it *sigh*
Meanwhile, we here in New Hampshire just elected the largest Republican majorities we've ever had in our legislature, and some of us might soon be looking for volunteers to help build a fortress wall and the world's largest crocodile- and piranha-filled moat around our borders. Good jobs at good wages, and believe me, people will pay...
I had an address for an article by Michell Malkin, http://michellmalkin.com/2010/11/18/dream-act-scorecard-the-gop-senate-fence-sitters/ but it doesn`t seem to be valid now. We need a listing of vulnerable politicians to act on on this issue, otherwise, we face an avalanche that may not be stoppable. BTW,if we can get such a listing it may prove valuable for the other lame duck garbage the Obozo-trons are planning.
http://www.alipac.us is a pretty good source of info on the illegal issue.
Thanks!
The concentrated listing would bee all the democrats, and RINOs, in the House and Senate. And, yes, we have to keep the pressure on.
Keep in mind, a representative will pay more attention to someone from his district than an outsider.
I did a search on dogpile.com using variations of lame duck and conservatives, I found a number of hits on the subject including a few goodies with links to others fighting http://lonelyconservative.com/2010/11/democrats-keep-dream-act-alive-in-lame-duck-session/ and http://www.americanthinker.com/2010/11/keeping_the_lame_duck_from_wad.html also http://www.capitolhillblue.com/node/34931 (lots of links here) Freedom works is organizing but they seem to be putting a lot of emphasis on a petition http://blogs.freedomworks.org/nolameduck/
Its a start but would you have a condensed listing of just who is running in 2012?If at all possible, those in embattled districts and states? We need to concentrate our efforts on the most vulnerable.
