I’m very curious to see what my newly elected Sen. Marco Rubio says about this.
Rubio is impressive in many ways, but we do not yet know if he is much more than Mel Martinez 2.0. That's what a couple of Florida residents called him in discussions a few months back.
I haven't joined the crowd who seem to want to put him on the 2012 presidential ticket.
Rubio is pro-illegal alien....when he was Florida State House speaker....he killed 10 bills that would have restricted and ended Illegal Alienism in Florida. This is fact
He also did not support AZ SB 1070.
If I were a betting man...Rubio would support the DREAM Act. They tried to pass such a law in Florida a few years ago...not sure if Rubio was one of its supporters
I could not vote for Rubio knowing his weakness on Illegal Aliens...had to vote for the Libertarian candidate
I suspect by January 2012 people will totally be regretting supporting Rubio....he is the Latino Scott Brown
given how FL works on instate tuition I would say he is against this back door amnesty.
Crists pet appointee on the other hand...
