If purported conservatives turn into Orrin Hatches upon arrival in DC, they can rest assured that it will be their one and only term in office and the republican party will cease to exist as a viable political force. I doubt our elitist, DC country clubbers truly understand how enraged the public has been over the past year or so. Continue to puss out and bend over to the left however and they’ll certainly find out.
That’s OK. 2012 is coming.
Now, the TPP may cancel their planned orientation meeting :(
Who would be in charge of Congress if the party distribution were to be 30% Dem, 30%, Rep, and 40% Tea??
Which party would get to elect the Speaker? Who would be in charge of Chairmanships? Would the Reps join the Dems to lock out the Teas?
Someone tell the dopes who run Tea Party Patriots that illegal immigration is a massive financial and constitutional issue. Some doofus there told me TPP has “no position on immigration”. Yet they spend tons of time fighting ‘earmarks’ which even if every penny were eliminated would not even fund a single day’s operation of the Fed gov’t. Meanwhile illegal aliens cost the U.S. $113 BILLION ANNUALLY, and Article 4, Section 4 mandates that the Feds protect each state from invasion. How the hell can the tea party not have a “position” on that? Tea Party Patriots will have zero credibility to me so long as they keep their heads in the sand about illegals.
This seems to assume that the Tea Party members of the U.S. House are stumbling, moronic yokels who can be easily manipulated and foiled. Odd assumption for someone who purports to support their goals.
It is what the leftists in the republican party have alwasys done, nothing new here.
Everyone needs to remember that the agenda of the leftists aka RINO republicans is exactly the same as Obama’s, no difference what so ever, none.
The TpCaucus are NOT republicans,, They ARE InDIaNS...
Do they actually think that we are just going to sit on our hands while our country goes down the drain??
The Tea Party types should form their own little voting block and tell the GOP their vote must be earned on each issue not taken for granted and that they will be just as happy to vote with the Dems to shut down GOP Bills if they are not heard on them.
Mel
The “elite” of the GOP better do as the voters instructed this past election or their party just might be over...
Power in Washington is distributed along senority/pecking order, which gives the RINOs a big advantage. However, neither the Constitution nor voters acknowledge this pecking order. The Tea party organization still exists, it will still back up their candidates. They grew into an organization not because of the election, but to fight the health care bill in town halls across the country. They will not dissolve until the next election. The same in your face pushback will await anyone who does not cut the budget.
