Toyko Rove is a liar! He didn't endorse O'Donnell...he hardly wished her well at all

And for him to lie and say that Sarah couldn't campaign for O'Donnell because she was busying with her show is another lie because Sarah was in New York...how would he know anyway

Time to go, Rove.

Take ALL of the McCains with you, too.

And I hope Rush never makes the mistake of allowing this Dem-lite host his show again.

Yes, a Dem-lite. Any RINO who obstructs the election of a true conservative is no different than a Dem operative.

He NEVER endorsed O’Donnell, has he forgotten to take his meds or something..for God’s sake he always said he was a Castle guy, and the second Christine won he started trashing her left and right. What a turd Rove is

Rove is focusing on an obscure reference to a possible homosexual encounter because................ he knows something about it.

Rove was, from the get go last Spring totally in error in his analysis of Delaware.

The African-American voters turned out ~ in historically high numbers. Castle didn't have a chance. He may well have realized that when he decided to run for the Senate instead of his own House seat.

Boy, Rove is really doubling down on his stupid lies. What a loser!

I can’t believe anyone here is still defending him.

Rove is a sleazy liar. IIRC Rove did all he could to torpedo her run after she won the primary. I think the negative reaction to a homo affair rumor probably did it for Rove. Maybe O’Donnell thought it was true and that is why she did not condemn it. Who knows, maybe Karl likes homos? He sure does not seem to like women much.

Once again, Rove proves that in the end, he is nothing more than an attack dog for the entrenched Cocktail Party RINO set.

He doesn’t seem to realize that the Conservative movement has turned the page and is no longer interested in anything he has to say. The only people paying attention to him now are liberals and the Rockefeller champagne and crumpet types.

In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if he jumps completely into the liberal camp the same way the toe-sucker turned his coat and became a “conservative”.

Disgusting.

GO AWAY ROVE!

Karl Rove sucks hind tit. I use to have tremendous respect for Karl, but over the years he seems to have lost that respectability. His political predictions have been consistently wrong and his rage against the up and coming right seems to be growing day by day.

Which, frankly, doesn’t sound like much of an endorsement to me.

That's because the blogger apparently doesn't understand the meaning of the word "endorsement".

We regularly endorse candidates that we don't think are the best chance for winning, because we think it's more important to have a possible conservative win than a more likely moderate/liberal win.

Rove was absolutely correct that O'Donnell didn't give republicans as good a chance to win. As a contributer to Fox, it was his job to offer his assessment of the race, much as people here hated him for it. His assessment didn't help her, but he also clearly endorsed her.

As to Palin, I'm guessing Palin realised that appearing in Delaware would only hurt O'Donnell. However, I know that isn't a popular opinion here, where some people think Palin is universally popular.

Of course, if Palin was really preparing for a 2012 presidential run, the smart thing would be to distance herself from O'Donnell once it was clear how flawed her candidacy was, so as not to get tainted. But Palin doesn't strike me as a person who acts politically -- even though I know a lot of her supporters here claim that she DOES act out of political or other considerations rather than doing what is conservatively best.

Tokyo Rove is a marginal figure at this point. Ironic that Dick Morris turned out to be the real strategic thinker and Rove just a hack. It proves that we need to keep our minds open to recruiting lapsed liberals as they, um, lapse.

Christine o’Donnell Endorsed By Karl Rove In Delaware Senate 2010

September 17, 2010 by Aaron M.

Christine o’Donnell Endorsed By Karl Rove In Delaware Senate 2010 – Karl Rove has been attacked, following comments he made concerning the Republican candidate for Delaware, Christine O’Donnell.

Rove made the comments as a political analyst on Conservative-leaning network Fox News, where he spoke about the “nutty things” O’Donnell has said, and he concluded, “This is not a race we’re going to be able to win.” This drew him the ire of other Republicans, who feel this isn’t the right way to go about speaking in regards to candidates.

A different opinion on this, however, is shared by Rove, who says his job as a political analyst “is not to be a cheerleader for every Republican… it’s to call them as I see them.” In this case, what Rove is calling seems to be the truth, as O’Donnell is currently trailing Chris Coons, the Democrat candidate by 11 points. Rove is being realistic in his appraisal of O’Donnell’s chances, judgement based on fact rather than a blind faith, which many Republicans seem to share.

Rove did have some advice for O’Donnell, mentioning that she could attack Obama, his policies and his view points. He also mentioned she could be more open about her past, especially regarding her financial situation, which has caused her some trouble over time.

“That’s not out of the game, but she’s got to make up ground and make up ground quick,” Rove said.

"Former Bush Senior Adviser Staff Karl Rove today defended his earlier criticisms of Delaware's Republican Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell and insisted he supports her campaign, since she is now the Republican nominee.

Asked today on Fox News whether he would endorse O'Donnell, Rove said, "I endorsed her the other night"
