US cruise missiles travel slow. Only the Russians, Chinese and Indians have the super fast ones. We do not know the launch point or mechanism. Could have been launched from an aircraft. The helicopter pilot that took the video stated that he thought launch point was over the horizon.

This is why so many people became hysterical, and became such big news...Is only because this is so common, and is often seen on a daily basis.
