“President Bush’s betrayal of our closest and most important ally, -Israel.”
“Closest and most important?” Sez who?
You support Ron Paul. Speaks volumes right there, Paultard.
Simply said; ‘you speak with your head deeply up your arse!’
Yep Bush gave us a dem congress in 2006 and then Obama in 2010
He had a GOP congress for 6 years and squandered the future
“I dont think voters were thinking much about Israel when they voted for Bush or Obama. This post turns entirely into a Bush let Israel down theme”
“...turns entirely into a Bush let Israel down theme”
No, what it does is point out these other important items that Malkin did not address. But are no less important when considering the Bush legacy.
My last sentence in the post reads as follows:
“Michelle Malkin wrote an excellent appropriate article dealing with “Bush Nostalgia”. However, these other important items also need mention when it comes to those who are- “missing” Bush.”
And truly Bush’s betrayal of Israel in departing from previous U.S. policy and calling for the establishment of a “Palestinian” state in the heart of Israel’s own land of Judea and Samaria, will forever be a black mark against his legacy.
President Bushs betrayal of our closest and most important ally, -Israel.
Closest and most important? Sez who?”
Says about 70% or more of patriotic Americans who understand that Israel’s fight is also America’s fight.
Israel stands on the front line everyday fighting back against the global jihad against the free-non-Muslim world.
We need presidents who will support our allies such as Honduras and Israel, not pull the rug out from under them like Bush and Obama.
“Closer and more important” than Canada, Britain, Japan? Please come back to reality.
George Washington and Thomas jefferson paved the way for LBJ Nixon and Jimmy Carter.
If ya wanna blame Bush for Obama start at the top.
The same stupid argument is used to blame God for the Devil
Globalists...anti-Americans ALL of them.
George H, George W, Clintons, Obamas, Kerry, Soros, Bernanke, Geithner...all part of the same club working on a systematic and managed decline of the US to pave the way for a global government.
If a majority of Americans think clearly enough to repudiate the Decadence and reverse its effects.
To do this, they must overcome the relentless propaganda of the Mainstream Newsmedia, "celebrities," and university professors and demand honesty and accountability of their elected officials.
If the American people do this, the United States will defy the historical model and re-serge into a second period of ascendancy.
If they do not, the United States will become just another fallen empire whose ashes litter the pages of history, and the American people will suffer hardships and misery the horrors of which few can even imagine.
Time will tell.
We can help our nation survive the worst of the tides of history by continuing to inform our fellow Americans and by insisting on ruthless honesty ourselves. And we must. But the very worst thing about this is that the Decadence deafens the ears of the benevolent, and this is the hardest thing for us to overcome.
I firmly believe, if he were president today, Reagan would be called a RINO by a good percentage of people on here. Amnesty for illegals, pulled out of Lebanon, arms for Iran and (gasp) reached across the aisle to Democrats.
“... Amnesty for illegals, pulled out of Lebanon, arms for Iran “
That’s right, Reagan was not a perfect president.
But that fact often gets brushed aside by those who wish to engage in,- shall we say “leader-worship”, of certain GOP personalities.
And here is another fact:
In 1982 when the IDF had Yasser Arafat and his PLO jihad terrorist buddies surrounded in West Beirut, it was the Reagan Administration that sent Philip Habib from the State Dept. over there to pressure Israel into allowing safe passage for Arafat and his jihad terror buddies out of Lebanon to Tunisa in north Africa.
The correct action of the Reagan Administration should have been, -”What can we do to help you destroy this terrorist organization”.
Well, because of external political pressure it was not long before Arafat and the PLO were right back in Israel again. In Ramallah. Plotting and planning new terror attacks.
Reagan’s view of Arafat and the PLO should have been no different than our view of Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda today.
It is funny you used the word “baloney”.
I happen to think you are full of it when you spout off the leftist tripe we have been hearing for the last few years.
It gets even worse when you try to play this “liberal think” off like it is gospel.
What you are trying to shove down our throats are the democrats’ talking points. I'm not swallowing it.
(See what I did there....thinking for myself)
Make up your mind - are you an AMERICAN or a Israeli?
A double minded man is UNSTABLE in all his ways...
Who would your choice be?
“Make up your mind - are you an AMERICAN or a Israeli?
A double minded man is UNSTABLE in all his ways...”
I’m a patriotic American of course. And that’s why I believe so strongly in standing by our close allies.!
How about you?
From your tone you sound as though you don’t care too much about supporting our important allies such as Israel.
And that is being un-American.
As far as “double minded” goes, I refer you to my posted article in April of 2008 entitled,-
“A Double Minded Foreign Policy”
http://amerisrael.typepad.com/my_weblog/2008/04/a-double-minded.html
And as I pointed out in that article, a “double minded” foreign policy leads to unstable consequences for our country.
You have seen Palin pin with an Israeli and American flag, right?
