Where I live we recently got rid of our highway photo radar cameras, and you can really tell the difference by the way idiots are driving now. So they obviously had the intended effect. BUT... it is also apparent that these tools, IN THE WRONG HANDS, are ultimately more dangerous to us in ways we can't even fathom yet. Therefore, I supported the removal of the cameras. Why give them more opportunities to track our movements?
If you recall, that was a big part of Hillarycare back in 1993. You couldn’t travel outside of our “medical zone” without registering your itinerary with the Feds and getting permission. We are going to get this sort of thing no matter what. I don’t think Congress can really affect it much any more. It is in the Courts’ hands now and too many judges have been appointed to be revolutionary legislators. Everything has to go to the USSC and that docket will be overwhelmed pretty soon. I wonder how seriously the Left, especially the Ayres and/or Chicago Left has considered that in reality there is only one human being standing in the way of total control- one Supreme Court Justice. If Thomas or Scalia or Roberts should have a heart attack, or an unfortunate accident...
