Also, there was on article of FR:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2597005/posts
that was from Forbes.

The article says the company has sold over 500 of these vans. Do I believe they are all used in a specific venue such as sporting events, or near border crossings, and ports?

I probably need tinfoil, not air, as anytime there are human beings involved in an endeavor, I do believe that there are some who will abuse the intent of that endeavor.

No paranoia. That is what was stated about it at the time by the people promoting it.

The pat-downs can be very traumatic for some women. I experienced this first hand when I escorted the elderly mother of my boss to Scotland a couple of years ago to join the rest of his family for his daughter’s wedding. She is a very sweet and kind woman. She is not a drama queen or prone to hysterics. She is simply a very old fashioned woman who grew up in a gentler time. I think of her as a true Southern belle. She is well educated, had traveled quite extensively in the past and is not the nervous type.

This was before the full body scanners so that wasn’t even an issue, but for some reason out of the dozens of people in line, they pulled her aside for a pat-down. Instead of several middle Eastern looking men who quite frankly I was hoping they would check out, they chose this sweet old woman. She had not made the metal detectors go off so I have no idea why they did this. She did what she was told while the woman TSA agent patted her down. She was also made to pull the top of her pants down about an inch (not sure why they did that). I stood nearby and thought she was doing ok, but when it was over and we were walking away, she began shaking and broke down in tears. She was mortified at being touched in such an intimate way by a stranger. The experience of being touched in private places by someone other than her husband or doctor was more than she could handle. She worried about the return trip the entire time we were in Scotland and I know it affected her ability to enjoy the festivities. Thankfully, she wasn’t put through this on the return flight. I was planning to ask for a manager if they did and Lord only knows what would have happened to us then.

I know 9-11 was horrible. My question is how did we ever fly before 9-11? It seems odd to me that the TSA seemed to spring to life almost over night. It seems that the plan was already in the works before 9-11. Bush caved to the federal worker unions and hell he must have been in on this whole control plan to begin with.

I’ve heard the Patriot Act was alsowritten before 9/11. Not sure if thats true. I want to keep America secure but I think the best way isn’t ultimate security like body scanners but profiling. That’s why Israel is able to twart so many would be jihadi attacks.

If you don't like it, don't fly.

Nonsense. We have a century of case law regarding state and local police stopping drivers. There is no right to drive, but you still retain your rights against unlawful search and seizure. No, by driving you do not agree to surrender your rights... so why do you assume that with flying?

I hope you never have to be felt-up by the TSA. It is disgusting, I can tell you.

“These machines are only a step up from the machines you already walk through to enter the courthouse.”

Except the courthouse machines don’t have pervs sitting in a room fapping to your naked body. Or perhaps they save the image to their thumb drive for personal pleasure at home.

Good luck.

People getting groped so that a few Muzzies aren’t offended with profiling.

This is just so sick on so many levels.

Big Nazi Government bending to the will of a death cult, fondling Men , Women, and little children.

The breaking point has come.

Similar horror stories are popping up more and more every day. Perhaps a class action lawsuit designed to overturn the so called terrorist security measures the Bush admin shoved through Congress without much of a vetting process should be totally re-thought and reworked.

It sure seems that a growing number of rogue TSA agents are running amok a bit too often with apparent complete immunity for their actions. That must stop. Even the Prez has to answer for his actions and that must apply to even out of control TSA agents, IMHO. What happened to unreasonable search and seizure in the US Constitution?!

You and me both. Quit flying in 2002. Broke down and bought a SUV in 2005 when I realized that almost nothing could get me back to flying.

It was 1996 for me. And I don't miss the clouds one bit in the least. I've learned more about my country by taking my SUV instead of flying and no I no longer travel out of the country. If the airlines are okay with this sort of behavior then far be for me to wish them all the unhappiness in bankruptcy.

What happened to this young woman and countless other citizens is nothing short of government sponsored terrorism against its own people. And I imagine it will only get worse until the American people awaken from their slumber and get fed up enough and demand that it come to a halt and fire a bunch of the anti-American Marxist bureaucrats starting with Obama and his female hench(wo)man Janet Napolitano et. al.

Thats why we form movements like the Free State Project in NH so the role of the gov. will be limited to protect life and property.

The wierdos will be there with the new machines when they come to the courthouse and then to the schools. That sort of folks is attracted to that sort of job. So when the machines come to the schools there will be a pervert at each door to operate the machine as the kids enter. Lots of perverts can’t get jobs if they have records. This will be natural work for them, sort of a community service to keep them off o welfare. Maybe they will be recruited for it through the NAMBLA Jobs Exchange.
