LTC Lakin is certainly not a racist, he is sincere and a dedicated American patriot. He is also a moron and has been led down the primrose path by so called friends and very bad legal advice. I understand that he now has new counsel who seem to be competent and acting in the best interests of their client. I hope that they can help mitigate the professional damage to this man.

Neal Puckett is Lakin’s new counsel. Puckett, who practices military law, represented Allen West as well as the woman in the Abu Ghraib case. He currently represents military personnel involved in the Fallujah and Haditha cases. Lakin is lucky to get this guy to take his case. Puckett is not only competent, he’s one of the best.
