I know Marco well and have heard him speak dozens of times. He never needs a teleprompter, and he always speaks in complete sentences, with proper grammar, and his thoughts are organized coherently. The only time he uses notes is when he has names and titles of people to acknowledge during his opening.
He may still have the video of his Speakership acceptance speech on his website. It is 30+ minutes along the same theme and will bring you to tears. His parents were sitting in the audience as he talked about standing on their shoulders to reach for the dream that eluded them.
He is really a great orator and an asset to the Senate.

Actually, you should read up on the subject, as I have. There is an interesting legal argument, based on the intent of the founders and the definition of “natural born” as they understood it, that a natural born citizen means someone born in the US whose parents are both citizens.
