During his press conference today, President Obama reassured the American people that he would focus on working with friends and foes across the aisle. Meanwhile, on a conference call with MoveOn.org activists, the president signaled he’s looking to continue pursuing his liberal agenda, working hard to “deliver the change the American people want… We didn’t sign up for what was easy,” he said.
And why should the liberal left let something like a democratic election get in the way of their agenda? After all, as Obama notes, “we signed up for what is right.” To the left, their agenda is “right” and in their mind, Americans got it wrong on Nov. 2.

Hussein is a full frontal Bolshevik. Of course he’ll say one conciliatory things to his “enemies” and then turn and conspire with the anti-American organizations.

We NEED to pounce on anyone that speaks of their friends across the aisle. Of course, McCain comes to mind but he will influence others.

George is not a young man. He doesn’t have that many elections left. Unions members are not happy spending a billion every other year out of dues.

Actually, I thought what Obama said in this audio clip was essentially incoherent, consisting mostly of several catch-phrases randomly strung together.
No, I won’t make a sweeping generalization like that. In general, I totally agree with you....but there ARE a few Democrats who also don’t like Obama’s agenda.
However, I think most of us are pretty aware that Obama really does NOT want to compromise. He wants agreement with his agenda. He still does NOT GET IT....that this election was the result of his HORRIBLE policies. They are all in some ignorant state of denial. He has blamed it on his poor job in explaining what he was doing (talk about haughty), on our fear and depression with its resulting confusion of mind...due to unemployment....anything and everything BUT the truth. The truth he will not hear is that HIS POLICIES ARE MAKING IT WORSE AND WILL FAIL MISERABLY.... as they always have in past history.
Because Obama is lacking a broad, well-rounded education and because he is saddled with some strong emotional baggage tied to his upbringing, I doubt that he will EVER GET IT!!!!

Perhaps, you misunderstood. I certainly agree that he knows exactly what he’s doing. He does not, however, GET why it won’t work.
He honestly believes it will.....and, on a deeper level (my own pop psychology here), he’s still trying to gain his Father’s approval.
