..... from a logical point of view, I agree with what you are saying. But I honestly won’t be happy until my state of Massachusetts FINALLY awakens from its six decade Democratic nightmare and puts that pompous arrogant ass, Barney Frank, out of office once and for all.

and then there’s Markey.

and then there’s Nikki Tsongas.

and then there is Olver.

and ultimately there is our current senior senator, that insufferable egocentric ineffectual snob John Kerry.

I’m happy for the rest of the nation, but Massachusetts remain a depressing political environment. I trust you understand my feelings in this respect.

Yes you have your nightmares, do not tell me Neal still one, Oh-vey...

But what I find wierd is and I can't put my finger on it is some of the most Liberal Loon States just took a dramatic swing to the right i.e. Wisconsin, Michigan and Maine at the State Level. Mass still has Dem AG's and SoS's not to mention the Gov. Ditto that NY and CA.

Yes it is depressing, Don't even get me started on CT. But what is causing the swings in the former Loon States? Is it Talk Radio being more prominent in these states that did well? Was it bad enough people had to visit their epistemology and realize change was needed? Is it the higher level of small businesses in these states vs. others and the fact they tend to smell the coffee a lot sooner?

My fear...

Not so much Mass, because your State Pension System seems to be ok the last time I saw a chart on it, but a State like CA or NY will potentially default and take the US down with it, and the voters were too stupid to see that that issue and the changes it will bring need to be addressed or it is Chapter 11. Frightening stuff...

Amazing, over 50 years ago Nikita Khrushchev proclaimed, “We will bury you without firing a shot.”,who would have imagined that the first state to capitulate, would be JFK's Camelot.
Massachusetts is a lost cause.
I can't believe that my fellow citizens here, umm, er..comrades here, not only voted to not reduce the sales tax from 6.25% to 3%, but voted not to reduce by an unthinkable large margin.
The item was largely symbolic, as the state's Politburo would never do anything the peasants clamored for.
The threat that we would have no schools, fire departments, police, etc. just like the tax-less savages on our northern boarder, um...er...wait, New Hampshire has schools, fire departments, police, their roads are always cleared of snow and well maintained...um...er...

Never mind.
