Probably because Sean would say “Literally, my head is exploding.”

Someone needs to do an Inigo Montoya on Sean.

There’s a common thread here relating to Sean’s habit of repeating points over and over again. Although grating to the ears of the regular listener, I think it serves a very important and useful purpose, whether intended or not: there are a lot of people who either tune in briefly or only pay attention for short amounts of time. Sean’s repetition of the “message”, of the conservative “talking points”, of the same themes over and over again, not only assures that the occassional or casual listener gets it, but that it is drilled into their heads.

Ladies and Gentlemen, there are a lot of Americans who need these messages repeated over and over again until they get it.

When I hear Sean call into Mark Levin’s show, he sounds measured, more intelligent. His show persona is so dumbed down it’s hard to listen too.

And invariably at drive time he has a shout fest with of (usually black) liberal caller, followed by “tonight on Hannity, Dick Morris, Newt Gingrich, and Bob Beckel”. No thanks.

Agreed....he's a good presenter, but the religion angle he's taken as of late is way too much for me.

I think he's gotten it into his head that he's becoming "empowered" to preach.

I dislike most "preachers" intently.

I completely agree. This clip alone was too much Hannity, she didn’t even show until 3:30 in and by then I was already bored.

“Unbelievable”, “Literally”, “Straight ahead”, all of those are called “crutches” in radio of which Sean has many. Beginners usually have crutches. Seasoned, syndicated multi million dollar contract talk show hosts shouldn’t.

I read that Greta surpassed Hannity in the ratings.

Greta is the best interviewer on Fox, period. She asks tough questions but doesn't play "gotcha" journalism, and most of all, she lets her guests talk. She's smart enough to know that if you have someone brilliant on your show, you should sit back, take a breath, and let him or her talk. This simple formula for success seems to have escaped O'Reilly, Beck, Hannity, and Cavuto (and I love Cavuto, but jeez...).

It's insulting to the guest and the audience when a host asks a question then interrupts the guest three words into the answer -- saying, in essence, "Your answer bores me. Let me ask another fascinating question." It's especially annoying when the guests are as brilliant and verbally talented as Coulter.

They like his approach to people, whether they’re libs or pubs. Plus they think he’s “cute”. He’s the opposite of Levin

Don't generalize, albie. This woman prefers Levin.

I like Hannity in general, but the critics of him on this forum have a lot of good points. He often gets a tad banal. However, can anyone think of someone else who would make a good conservative talk show host? Can we say ANN COULTER!!! Coulter would make an excellent host. No lack of acerbic comments, and she would be far funnier than the rest. Even funnier than Rush who is still the undisputed king of conservative talk.
