His screen name is misleading, because he's actually an older gent who bragged that he's close to the political scene and likes the pork and wants Lisa to win (obviously at all costs - the end justifies the means) because of what all she can bring to AK from her committee post.

Never mind that Joe Miller wants to free AK from the federal grip, so that AK can tap and benefit from its own natural resources.

I have been totally honest. Many folks know that I am a long time Alaskan and like many Alaskans will need to work with whom ever is elected.

I like most Alaskans would love to free Alaska to develop the natural resources. I have a long history of working in natural resource extraction. Many folks in the lower 48 do not understand that there is very little private land ownership in Alaska. The largest owner of land is the federal government and much is locked up in National Forest, National Monuments, National Parks and other national set asides. For the past 40 years Alaska's Senators and Congressman have fought to unlock Alaska. In the early 80’s I worked with our Alaska elected folks in DC to successfully defeat the large national environmental groups and Congress to unlock portions of Alaska. Needless to say the Sierra club does not send me Christmas cards.
