Nonsense.

The reason the Democrats are spotlighting COD is because they believe most of the country now thinks she’s a goofball - so the left and the media are trying to use her to tar other Tea Party backed candidates. Liberals especially seem to think COD is causing Toomey damage in Pennsylvania.

There are no legitimate polls that show COD even close to Coons.

TCJ is not a real poll. Where are these TPE polls and can we see the internals?

The election is 1 week from today. I think COD will lose by at least 10. If she manages to win, it would mean a giant Republican tide is sweeping the nation. My faith in Americans will be restored, my faith in human nature will be buoyed beyond belief, and I will happily concede (along with every political strategist in the game) to have having been completely and utterly wrong.

11 points is close. Not really super close, but considering that we don’t know how much better the Republican turnout will be than the Democrat turnout, and each day brings great news, theres a good reason to think the race would be definitely in single digits if it was Democrats 40, Republicans 37 in terms of turnout.

The most recent poll is Rasmussen 11. The wider gap polls are the older polls.

I do agree with you, and have agreed with you, about the merit of the TCJ Research polls. We both think those are BS. And the TPE polls were good in September, but we don’t know about the particular poll that the TPE was talking about on Sunday.

I think she impressed in the debate, and that Coons is tied to the hip with Obama.

I think she wins.

The reason why the Dems and the media started talking about Christine on September 14/15 is that they can’t help themselves. They don’t like religion or religious people, and they don’t think their viewers do either. They are wrong. Many of their viewers don’t like religion, but many do. People around the country have been watching MSNBC and CNN and seeing the people up there trashing Christine as evil.

the question you should be asking yourself is where are the national polls on this race. No gallup, Rass, or even PPP poll has been released on this race in the last 10 days or so. The omission is the answer to where COD is atm in the race. If COD was double digits behind the polls would be headlined in ever newspaper in the country. the fact that no left leaning pollster has released numbers on this race recently is all the answer you need. the rac eis within the MOE atm IMO and the TPE and TCJ polls confirm this.
