Republican John Raese has again taken the lead over incumbent Governor John Manchin in the Senate race to replace Robert Byrd. This came after several polls showed Manchin with a small lead (although one had him up by 10%). Raese is running a very hard campaign while Manchin's ties with Obama appear to be hurting him.
West Virginia is a heavily Democratic state but filled with conservatives-- even those registered to the Democratic Party. Manchin is very popular at home and many believe that sending him to the Senate will simply reduce the state's effectiveness and give another vote for Obama's agenda.

I suspect that he never lost the lead. Now is the time when desperate Democrat pollsters are willing to bend the numbers in order to help the party. They will release a “new” poll with the real numbers just before election day so that their track record stays clean.

That’s what they are trying to do to Nikki Haley in SC and Pat Toomy in PA. Both will win despite the “tightening of the polls.”
The tighening is to help the candidate raise money, no one donates money to a lost cause. It also helps bring in bsiness to pollsters. If one shows a race is tightening, other polls will be commissioned by newspapers /networks to verify, but if a race is consistently 10+ lead, no one will commission more polls. So it’s professionally beneficial for all of them to tighten some races to help each other out.
Exactly.. it should be illegal to run "polls".. in the first place..
They are PURE propaganda.. whether accurate or NOT..
Raese never lost the lead. Just fake Democrat polls were pushed in Obamamedia...
