I think bank stocks will suffer as everyone tries to hand off the toxic mortgage debt. Wall Street screwed the system big time with its whiz bang collateralized products. The piper is playing and the proverbial (non-Reverend Wright) chickens are coming home to roost. Cockledoodledooooooo.....

No it was CRA’s filing lawsuits like Hussein suing Citicorp followed by the COngressional Black Caucus demanding banks loan money to anyone.

I was just going to state that if they take away my mortgage interest deduction, I’m walking out on my mortgage, but then I remembered I posted it to you on another thread. But BofA is supposedly my mortgage holder now, since the Countrywide debacle, and they better not mess wif me too much either. I’m not getting into a situation where the whole rest of the country is “doin’ da default” and only a few of us are left holding the bag.

Actually, I might, because I like my house, and I like being a homeowner, and I still consider it something of a privilege and an honor.
