AM waiting here on-line moderating a different site (WUWT) while daughter and wife and grandedkids finishing tricking and treating so as to go out get something to eat .....

It’s been a quiet evening, but the morning was “interesting”.
You know what that means!
A visit to the Hospital this morning for my daughter, Teen2. A very painful foot has been diagnosed as possibly gout.
Gout? Hmm.
I’m older than I thought, to have a child suffering from gout.
Well, we’ll medicate, and diet-watch, and I think everything will be fine.
Afterwards we went to a late breakfast, and it’s all cool now.
I’m just still bemused.
