Geert Wilders Trial Stalled As Judge Is Caught Tampering With Defense Witness - Entire Panel Sacked
The Right Side Of It ^ | October 23, 2010 | John L. Work

While the latest twist in the case is sensational and the outcome at least temporarily beneficial for Freedom of Speech, there is a sinister shadow in the background that bodes ill for both Europe and The United States. Islam by all appearances has sunken its hooks deeply into The Netherlands’ judicial system.

Yesterday, the hate-speech case against Dutch Parliamentarian Geert Wilders was stopped, the panel of judges dumped, and he will be re-tried. Why? On May 3, 2010, the judge (read that: Inquisitor) who ordered the case to trial reportedly showed up at a social gathering dinner – and began to do some pre-testimony de facto tampering with one of Wilders’ defense witnesses. The witness, Hans Jansen, was to give expert testimony on May 6, 2010, regarding Koranic scripture and Sharia (Muslim law), which would be necessary to demonstrate the link between acts of violent jihad and codified Muslim doctrine.

Jansen’s blog post says that during the evening the judge, Tom Schalken, engaged Jansen in conversation about the Wilders case and spoke about why it was so important to bring him to trial. From Jansen’s blog:

God bless Geert Wilders. This whole episode may have a tremendous impact on Europe for decades to come. He is really the man for the hour.

Judge Tom Schalken should have attended Eric Holder's Chicago seminar on how to fix a trial, he might have gotten it done.

Judge Schalken obviously wants off this case for some reason. He can't just drop out ~ but if he could convince someone to complain enough he'd get replaced.

So, he did.

I have no idea what his motive is ~ maybe an Islamofascist threatened the life of his family or something ~ or he fears the results of the election that put his victim into a position of power.

I've heard Dutch politics can be a little bit rougher than they let the rest of us know. Bodies do end up in the canals.

I wish...

But no, most people don’t hear any more about this trial than our leftist journalists want them to.

Thanks for the update.

Without Wilders, Western Europe would still be caving to those koranimals hell bent on destroying the world. Since his fist acquittal, France, Germany & now even Russia have begun the purge of the infestation. The Vatican just announced their objections to the islamic invasion too.

I thought he was already found not-guilty on all charges! Like 2 weeks ago?

Hi, FrogMom,

There was a motion to dismiss filed by the prosecution. Thanks for keeping up and taking time to comment.

Thanks JLWORK. The judge should be hanged without trial. That's an appropriate response to anyone who advocates in favor of jihadists.
