Elizabeth Hasselbeck is right though. It wasn’t all 1.2 billion Muslims who murdered 2733 innocent people along with their own 19 worthless selves. It was 19 individuals, who happened to be Muslim but could just as easily have been Amish. The same is true for the rampage at Ft. Hood, which was initiated by one disturbed individual who coincidentally happened to be Muslim, the Spanish train attacks, the daily rocket and mortar attacks on Israeli civilians, the London Underground attacks, and a VERY long list of other violent and unprovoked man-caused disasters . . . all just isolated incidents by individuals who happened to be Muslim. It would be politically incorrect to generalize based on the few thousand terrorist attackers who happen all to share that one trait. Besides, we can absorb the attack if our collective blindness and weak leadership invite another mass murder - Obama said so.
I think, in this whole O’Reilly-View mess, there’s a distinction that’s been missing and that nobody has communicated very clearly.
Did Muslims kill Americans on 9/11? Yes. Clear as the sky is blue.
Are ALL Muslims responsible for what happened on 9/11? No. And I think that’s what people hear when they listen to O’Reilly’s comments.
