I’d bet Mara is a little nervous.
Last week I got fired by a racist bigot who had called one of the residents and told her to get her “black ass out of his lobby or he’d call the cops” and I answered her question on who to go to that was higher up than this idiot. For forwarding her phone number (which she requested I do) to a board member to call her (according to rules), this powercrazed/micromanaging director called me in and fired me even though 3 days later he was fired himself!
My bet is that Mara stays with NPR and quietly leaves Fox.
She’s considerably whiter than Williams, and that works in her favor.
