Chris Coons can’t name the five freedoms in the First Amendment

I am not “picking on” Christine. You can kid yourself about what she said and what it sounded like but she did not give a good impression with her comment. Was Coons exactly right in what he said and how he said it? NO, but its ridiculous to pick apart a sentence spoken during a debate. Never the less I’m sure Coons sees little difference in local, state and federal govt, which is one reason I would never support him. Sure the 1A says congress shall make no law, and therefore isnt applicable to local govt, but these days the tentacles of the federal govt reach to the local govt through things like education funding. That gives them undue influence on the local schools. If the Feds say the money cant be used to teach creation, they call the shots if you want the money. Since the money comes from congress, congress essesntially runs the schools.
