John Willoughby is a great candidate. There is clearly something going on in Hawaii. Duke is running nearly even in the latest Governor poll. Anyone who is saying that John can’t win are just ignoring history. We are passing up some very great opportunities that won’t be apparent till the aftermath of Nov 2nd. Everytime I hear some idiot conventional wisdom advocate who not only doesn’t bother to look at current polling info say definitely that such and such can’t win it makes me want to reach through my computer screen and punch them out. They said Scott Brown couldn’t win, they said Charles Djou couldn’t win, they said Rick Scott couldn’t win, they said Christine O’Donnell couldn’t win, they said John Raese was a non starter, they thought Ron Johnson was a long shot. How many times to these “experts” have to be proven wrong before we stop listening to them and simply do what is right and get behind the best conservative in the race and give them the ammunition in $$$ they need to win? I’ve spent more money this year than I ever have before. I’ve given Marco Rubio nearly the maximum allowed by law, I have reoccurring donations going to Sharron Angle, I gave to both Chuck DeVore and Patrick Hughes who unfortunately lost their primaries. I’ve given based on principle to Mike Labno who I believe could win if only conservatives got their act together and stopped being hypocrites. Anytime you see 45% of voters wishing they had another choice than the two major party candidates then you have an opportunity to hit them hard and see a miracle happen. I don’t know how many times we are going to have to preform the “impossible” to finally rid ourselves from the establishment apologists who call mainstream conservatives extreme while calling far left Republicans Centrist and Moderate.
I’m with Jim DeMint. We don’t need to elect those who aren’t on our team. No other place but politics does the idea of supporting someone who is 75%-80% against your interests make sense. All that does is divide us when we should be united in defense of the cause of liberty. If we let ourselves be lulled back into submission in order to “win” then we will never achieve any major rollbacks of government largess and are doomed to embrace the oblivion of the American we say be love.
out here it’s all about the $$$
If you have , or can raise the funds , they take the candidate seriously . If you don’t have the $$$ they don’t help you find it . And yet they are all about recruiting candidates early on . If you come up with a powerful endorsement ,like Palin’s , but it is not their idea or effort , they do not acknowledge it .
The pity here is that this is a qualified U.S. Navy veteran , who HAS Sarah Palin’s personal endorsement , and who is running against one of the worst of the House ‘progressives’ a politician that has done next to nothing for her constituency , and is so arrogant that she almost does not even acknowledge that she has an opponent .
This is the Democrat that is being further aided by our very own HRP choosing NOT to oppose her at all , choosing NOT to support or in anyway push to advance their own candidate against .
It is shameful
