I was about 10-15 feet from her, one behind the front in the preferred standing room only section. There was no meet and greet or anything, but to see her so close up was very cool. She occasionally checks her notes, but she has become such a good speaker. She loves the crowd, she “feels” the crowd, and she feeds off it with her humor and her passion.

My mom was there and she agrees that Sarah Palin’s the real deal. She’s got “it”. The same “it” that Reagan had, for connecting with the American people in word and in “sense.”

Your so lucky you were able to attend. Must have been an amazing experience. The place looked packed? About how many people attended by your estimation? The media said 2,000 but we all know the media are liars. Sarah was in her element that is for sure, she was really enjoying herself. We take back our country on Nov 2nd, or 400 hours away as she put it LOL that was a really funny moment

I don't know if she's got some coaching or it's simply a matter of lots of practice but her speech delivery has been getting better each time I've heard her. Tonight she broke out with a great one.

I lived in California during Reagan's time as governor,and I certainly agree with your Mom that Sarah has that same "it" that Reagan had.
