He's a complete flaming A-hole to those that have to work for him. One of his campaign ads say he left the Navy when his daughter was diagnosed with brain cancer. The reality is that he was relieved of command for cause by the new CNO. The guy taking over as CNO was concerned enough about Sestak that he made firing Sestak his first priority. Sestak was removed for command climate, of a staff command, within 24 hours of the CNO taking his new post.

I don't know why this never gets any attention outside the Navy. To put it bluntly, Sestak is the Navy version of Wesley Clark. They were both made by Clinton, promoted by Clinton, and believe in a Clinton-type foreign policy.

Joe Sestak is my nominee for the candidate most likely to go postal after the November election.

That was the second time he was relieved. The first time was also for poor command climate.

The saddest part to this is that he should never have made it past LTJG (02). To a great extent a warm body is the only requirement for promotion. This causes the really good ones we want to keep to bail out.
