Near the end of World War II, the United States dropped an atomic bomb on the major Japanese metropolitan city of Hiroshima. A necessary evil, the United States government believed that by showing the Japanese such a weapon of war that they would surrender. After dropping a second bomb on Nagasaki, the Japanese did just that: surrender.
100,000 people died in Hiroshima. However, apparently Democrat Alan Grayson is unaware of that because yesterday he stated that his campaign is "Ground Zero" and that his campaign has seen "destruction that was seen at Ground Zero in Hiroshima." Mr. Grayson is in an extremely bad need of a history lesson:
I'm sure that I don't need to say this, but conservatives have not killed 100,000 supporters of Alan Grayson.

Your right, number 1, we would not kill his supporters. Number 2, he does not have 100,000 supporters to start with ;)

Grayson is complaining about the "politics of personal destruction"?
Grayson, who called his opponent "Taliban Dan"?
Grayson?
If he can do that with a straight face, he would have a promising career as an actor in a situation comedy.

This narcissist idiot thinks the ads are on TV for HIM to see, so he'll just turn off his TV and then they won't exist. He'll show 'em...he won't listen.
As I've said many times, democrats think that if they cover their own eyes, no one else can see them.

If I understand the analogy correctly, Grayson declared war on America, sucker punched us at Pearl Harbor, launched Kamikaze attacks, and facilitated the Bataan Death March. Then real Americans got sick of his crap and went nuclear on him?
The analogy is a bit flawed because the Japanese had a very highly developed sense of honor. But otherwise, it has some elements of truth.

grayson... no one has to come after you personally, pointing out your votes for healthcare and cap and tax and your support for Nancy Pelosi is more than enough.

"A necessary evil, the United States government believed that by showing the Japanese such a weapon of war that they would surrender. After dropping a second bomb on Nagasaki, the Japanese did just that: surrender."
A "necessary evil?" It was necessary, period. It was no more evil than killing a poisonous snake that threatens you. It was no more evil than using fire to extinguish a forest fire. It was no more evil than executing a murderer. There was nothing evil about it.
If you want to talk about evil we can talk about Japan's treatment of POWs and civilians.
The author left out a key sentence as well. It should read...
"...that by showing the Japanese such a weapon of war that they would surrender. After the use of the first bomb Japan still refused to surrender, justifying the United State's belief that Japan would resist surrendering unless faced with complete annihilation. Only after dropping a second bomb on Nagasaki did the Japanese do just that: surrender."
There. That is more factual.

Yup. It’s like Hiroshima. Grayson’s mouth is spewing fallout, so his candidacy is becoming radioactive. Oh, and his poll numbers are bombing, too.

And like the Japs, he brought ruination on himself through naked aggression against those whom he envied anf resented. Yes—past tense. Grayson is finished politically.
One thing his outrageous behavior DID gain him was enormous amounts of money from hard-left suckers. The “die quickly” mantra reportedly brought him $500,000 the first day. When he took note of the windfall, he stepped up his attacks. My question: WHAT HAPPENED TO ALL THE MONEY, ALAN??
That is one campaign that begs for an audit. Money is the only possible rationale for Grayson’s eruptions.
