We’ve got to pass a law, no unionized government employees, ever!
AMEN...STOP THE GOVERNMENT UNIONS!!!
That’s one thing I like about Mitch Daniels in Indiana.
His first action as Gov was de-certifying the UAW as representative of state employees.
AMEN to that! It's the main reason states such as here in the People's Republic of Illinois are basically bankrupt.
Actually, we don’t have to pass a law. Federal employees were allowed to unionize in an executive order. (EO 10988) So, all we need is a president with the cohones to rescind the order.
Exactly. When they go on strike. They go on strike against us. And the taxes get taken out of our paychecks automatically. If we tried to “go on strike” to counter them, the IRS would come after us.
I worked for local government for many years. I agree with your statement. I even voted against unionization as did most of my co workers. To put it bluntly it was the transplanted Yankee democrats who voted the union in.
I am in favor of a disinterested person being appointed to act as a negotiator if employees have a legitimate wage or other grievance against administration.
