Caught a few minutes of Denis Leary on the Joy Behar show last night. Even watching my favorite comedian being interviewed didn't stop the slight nausea induced by having to listen to Behar. As is typical from this libtard joke of a t.v. host, she bashed the Republicans for '...pontificating' Ronald Reagan. Do I even need to mention the name John Kennedy? Liberals have long placed the adulterous, Vietnam War-starting, son-of-a-bootlegger slimeball of a president on a pedestal. The fact that Behar has her own show is proof enough that we have too many channels and not enough talent.
More political-correctness run amok: I have many gay friends and have spent my share of time in their communities, so this isn't borne of any prejudice or bigotry. When I heard that the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) was on fire over the upcoming Ron Howard film 'The Dilemma' because of Vince Vaughn's line "Ladies and gentlemen, electric cars... are gay", I shook my head. THIS is worthy of outrage? Grab a sense of humor, people. I expect the enviroNazi crowd will protest next. The line bashes electric cars, after all...
Remember when NASA was about exploring space? Not under Obama's watch. Now, they send morons to other countries to tell us how to do business. James Hansen, the head of one of NASA's labs, is trying to prevent a French oilsands project in Canada. Funny how he isn't yapping at his own country's massive coal industry. Or China's emissions. Or India's. Wonder why America hasn't landed on Mars yet?
Election day is fast approaching in the U.S. and the experts agree that the Republicans stand to make huge gains. In reality, it is an unofficial referendum on Obama's presidency, which has seen a nose-dive in poll numbers. Americans just do not want socialism, which is where Obamalama is taking them. After the smoke clears, the GOP's next task will be to find a worthy candidate to challenge for the White House. Mitt Romney and Sarah Palin are often suggested and while I admire both individuals, I have to think there is someone in the ranks who would appeal to a broader section of voters. By 2012, Obama's damage will be such that the American people will be screaming for an alternative. The question is, who?
The Religion of Pieces: Islamist Samir Khan, formally of North Carolina who now calls Yemen home, has launched a propaganda magazine called 'Inspire'. His latest article entitled "I Am Proud To Be a Traitor to America details his pride in turning his back on the West. In it, Khan states: "I am a traitor to America because my religion requires me to be. We pledge to wage jihad for the rest of our lives until either we implant Islam all over the world or meet our Lord as bearers of Islam." How anyone could read these words and refuse to acknowledge what Islam is really all about staggers the imagination. Khan was known for his radical views before he even left the United States. How did the FBI let this homeland terrorist sympathizer get away? After 9/11 there is absolutely no excuse for America's intelligence agencies to be asleep at the switch.
