There was such high hopes for the very liberal 1st black president. For him to have failed is too much for the left to handle. It is as if instead of being a great ballplayer of greater character, Jackie Robinson had been a .150 hitter with an iron glove and prima donna attitude. Not the trailblazer they had hoped for.
