NCFreedom has refrained from publicly endorsing any candidates for a simple reason: the people have a personal responsibility to vote for the best candidates based on their own research. Dr. Lawson is running for the US House of Representatives in the 4th District which is Raleigh, Chapel Hill and Durham. The current representative is David Price who was first elected 22 years ago and votes with Nancy Pelosi 99% of the time. No one congressman votes with her more than David Price. NCFreedom is endorsing Dr. Lawson based on the information shown below. Why should you support a candidate in the 4th district if you do not live and vote there? We must understand that all Representatives in the House represent the state of North Carolina. Mr. Price has voted to continue funding for Acorn after the multiple scandals were uncovered. The following videos of their debate in Durham reflects the differences between these two candidates. I told Mr. Price that he looked scared after the debate where he was heckled for not answering a question, laughed at for comparing S treasury bonds with gold and did not have the expected support in what he considered to be his strongest base in this district.
The choice is clear for North Carolina: Support Dr. Lawson and the Constitution or support one of the people most responsible for the downfall of our country. Please donate to Dr. Lawsons campaign if you want a return to Constitutional government.
Mr. Price is receiving huge financial support from outside the state through PACs. The following information for donations is from open secrets:
David Price (D) * Raised: $400,584 Spent: $458,779 Cash on Hand: $293,088 Last Report: June 30, 2010 PAC contributions $215,000 (54%) Individual contributions $185,421 (46%) Candidate self-financing $0 (0%) Other $163 (0%) William T. Lawson, Jr (R) Raised: $152,060 Spent: $103,592 Cash on Hand: $50,923 Last Report: June 30, 2010 PAC contributions $2,554 (2%) Individual contributions $148,438 (98%) Candidate self-financing $0 (0%)
David DeGerolamo
Many thanks for the information!
Best regards,
I voted against Price when I lived in NC, including in 1994 when Heineman beat price. Dr. Lawson can make Price the only Dem to lose in both ‘94 and ‘10.
