It's hard to find but FR is an island in the Sea of Memes.

FR is pretty easy to find. I manage to do so every day.

I have pinged him as to why FR was an island in the sea of memes

Pinged who? Am I expected to provide a blog hit for someone in order to find out?

One of my favorite strips. Sometimes a little bit - well, a lot - obscure. I took that location as a reflection on FR’s influence in popular culture but it may have simply been a misplacement.

The location kind of makes sense, FR isn’t a blog, per-say, but it did define early political activism on the net, thus creating its own meme. Also, it has created a lot of memes that are common around the web.
