You are painting with too broad of a brush. The Jews here on FR, for example, do not support the Demonrat socialist agenda in the US. Generally speaking, Jews as group will be moving to the right in the upcoming congressional elections, just like the country as a whole. Though a (lesser) majority will still vote for 'Rat candidates (owing in part to the fact there is no viable GOP opposition in some of the contests in areas where large concentrations of Jews live), the overall Jewish support for their socialist agenda has been diminished by the discomforting experience with Obama.
It was the National Socialist German Workers Party which promulgated the persecution and murder of Jews throughout Europe.
Yes, the Nazis (and fascists) could be classified as socialists or leftists, but viewing them in that light has only gained popularity in the last decade or so. The conventional wisdom at the time they were wreaking havoc in Europe in the 1930s and 40s was that they were "far right" parties, due to their "nationalist" and anti-semitic aspects as opposed to their "socialist" side. Though the Nazis and fascists in Europe, on the one hand, had some similarities to the socialists and communists on the other, they constantly declared themselves arch enemies in their respective propaganda, except for the two-year period when Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union collaborated on their non-aggression pact.
I do remember that Ronald Reagan did very well with Jewish voters in 1980, winning about 40%. Unfortunately, that appears to have been a backlash against Jimmy Carter personally and Republicans were unable to keep that level of support. Perhaps the recession of 1982-83, nearly as severe as the current one, was the reason why. In any event, something like that may happen this year.
Yes, it was partly a backlash against Carter personally and his brother Billy, whom you may recall was a pro-Arab lobbyist, and against the anti-Israel stances of some in the Carter administration.
But it was also Reagan's roots in a heavily Jewish subculture - Hollywood - that helped to spread the good word about him within the Jewish community. That kind of identity has not been matched by any other presidential candidate in history. The closest comparison would be Joe Lieberman as Gore's running mate in 2000.
GOP can take a lot more of the Jewish vote if they have the brains to expose the RATs and their intentions against Jews and against Israel. RATs are sinister and intend to turn on Jews at the first opportunity; after they suck the money out of them first. RATs attitude about Jews is evident in their treatment of Israel. Hussein and his Kapos have already exposed their anti-Semitic attitude in their insulting, reprehensible treatment of Bibi.
Jewish voters better learn who their enemies are and real fast. DeathCare is a prime example of how the Ruling Class RATs intend to do away with whomever Big Brother deems expendable not unlike Germany in 1933. How will you fair with their Death Panels????
Good morning - hope you slept well...
It will be hard for the GOP to expose the Left if they are in on it.
They assassinate us? We return the favor.

Diminishing Stars of David? I’ll have to check out some photos.
In an odd development, Reagan ran more strongly with Jewish voters in 1980 than in 1984. I have no idea why so many switched from Reagan to Mondale.
Simply because Mondale wasn't Carter and didn't carry the same personal baggage as Jimmah, even though he had been Carter's VP. They moved back toward their 'Rat addiction.
The blacks on FR do not support the socialist agenda either, but blacks in general vote Demonrat by at least 10:1. I remember decades ago a cover of NR which had photos of leading conservatives of the century. About 1/3 of them were Jewish, and some of those were reformed ex-Leftists. However, the default ideology for most American Jews is Leftism. I have some ideas as to why. One is that Jews in Europe were forbidden to own land, so as urban people they were heavily exposed to Enlightenment ideas which were fashionable in cities. Another is that Jews were subjected to massacres by renegade elements accompanying some of the Crusades; that led to deep fear of overtly Christian rhetoric and leaders. Finally, many Jews came from Russia, where various flavors of socialism provided most of the opposition to a corrupt, imperialist regime which was “right-wing” in the European sense of being monarchist, in favor of a single established Christian church, and in favor of aristocratic privilege. In America, the “right” is loyal to what were once radical ideas in Europe, and certainly not to royalty, established churches, and social stratification. But most Jews can’t seem to grasp that.
