Once again, MilitaryCorruption.com, which never gave up digging for the truth in the face of one of the most odious cover-ups in Air Force history, breaks new ground in the investigation of the female Air Force officer who some feel faked her "abduction" in Kyrgyzstan just four years ago.
We can now confirm, both from our sources on the ground and a kindly Air Force public affairs officer, who we are not naming for obvious reasons, Maj. Jill Metzger is back on active duty.
For the past three years, the well-connected two-time winner of the Air Force Marathon has been sucking up a lucrative tax-free 100% "disability" pension while genuinely disabled and wounded vets from Iraq and Afghanistan returned to this country and received only a fraction of Metzger's largesse. The long-distance runner even took time in 2008 to compete in both the Air Force and Marine Corps Marathons, a neat trick for someone drawing the same "disability" pay as a war-wounded paraplegic. No one ever accused abrasive Jill of being humble.
TOTAL "DISABILITY" A THING OF THE PAST - JILL'S BACK ON ACTIVE DUTY
Now, apparently, Jill's total "disability" has vanished, gone with the wind. She's off the TDRL (Temporary Disability Retired List). The pampered and protected one can start hauling down some $80,000 a year as an Air Force major. Some disgusted officers at Andrews AFB, where Metzger was slipped under the radar into the job of chief of community programs, speculate the lucky lady may even be in line for a promotion to lieutenant colonel, as soon as her enablers can arrange it.
"This is a slap-in-the-face to all of us who live and work by the rules," said a furious major who feared retaliation if his name be known. "If Metzger had performed all the heroics she claimed - overpowering a guard and running 30 miles barefoot - you can be damn sure the Air Force would have pinned a medal on her at the Pentagon. The silence from the chief of staff's office has been deafening. Don't even ask me what I think of North."
ANGRY E-MAIL POURS IN, MAKING A PILE AN INCH DEEP
Much of the e-mail that has steadily poured into MilitaryCorruption.com since our first URGENT BULLETIN two days ago (see "related stories box" below), has been equally bitter. Without exception, Air Force officers and enlisted members, retired personnel and members of the Air Guard and Reserve, have expressed immense anger and frustration at the way Gen. Norton Schwartz, the "politically-correct" chief of staff, has allowed the cover-up to continue. As for Metzger's chief protector, bully-boy Gen. Gary North, we are unable here to reproduce many of the comments received about him.
The biggest loser in this shameful scandal is not just the U.S. taxpayers, who footed the bill for the multi-million dollar effort to "find" Metzger's fictional "kidnappers" in Kyrgyzstan, or the strained relations between our two countries after Jill's specious claims were headlined around the world. No, the greatest loss comes from the knowledge among the Air Force rank-and-file that "core values" are empty words at the highest levels of "leadership." They now know there are two standards of justice. One for the favored ones, like Jill Metzger, the other for everyone else.

Actually, it’s interesting she’s been allowed to skate through this whole episode. Regardless of where her and her husband end up, I think it’s safe to say the Air Force is certainly diminished by this episode.

Oh, I agree it’s a worthwhile story and it sure looks like the AF is covering things up. But the way this poster pushes the issue reminds me of when John Cleese arrives at the wedding in Monty Python’s Holy Grail.
I apologize for being late for the funeral of the US Air Force’s Leadership Integrity. Somebody has to write an obituary!
Born Sept 18th, 1947 Air Force leadership rocked the world with unprecedented achievements and successes in war and peace. Untold progress was made and Leadership was looked up to, emulated and touted as second to none. It self-actualized in Jan 1991 with the brilliantly and flawlessly conducted first war in the Persian Gulf. Those were the days!
Then something happened. Air Force leadership developed a horrible illness-—a PC infection to include the dreaded “self serving agenda”.
Leadership Integrity died a long slow painful death. It caught the dreaded Dragon Lady Disease and was hospitalized with Roche syndrome. Kidnapped in Kygryzstan, it had a botched abortion and then it took a turn for the worse.
Leaving the hospital, its nuclear triggering components were accidentally sent to China and somehow it tried to fly to Barksdale with undocumented nuclear cruise missiles onboard without anybody knowing. The grim reaper Gates tried to put it out of its misery and cut off its Moseley and Wynn to save its life. But it was too late.
That’s when it’s Metzger PC infection returned for finish it off. It was more then the rank-and-file body could withstand! The Meztger PC infection seemed to be centered at the top of the body-—HQ Air Force. It seemed to be localized there and everything seemed to be in a “Generally” (North) direction. The head doctor, who looked like an ape and had a German name that translated into English, meant “Black” tied his hands and thought, “I hope nobody especially Congress or the rank and file notices this”.
Air Force leadership Integrity died Oct 1st, 2010 at Andrews AFB after a long painful death. The next-of-kin, The Chinese Government, have yet to collect the body but are reportedly very happy with this outcome. Burial services will be private and not public. FOIA won’t be answered. Congress will turn a blind eye. The news media won’t cover it
I’m unaware of the metaphor but reading through the thread it’s obvious some folks think the posters level of emphasis is not justified. Over 22 years I had about 7 of them where I watched the ‘Golden Girl’ get groomed for better things. This whole story brings back bad memories.

Clearly and irrefutably it’s not my fault that the Air Force leadership decided to bring this field grade back on Active Duty despite the facts and the unanswered questions.
It appears Major Metzger and her enablers have BLACKMAILED her way back to active duty without regard for FUTURE CONSEQUENCES and DAMAGE TO MORALE AND DISCIPLINE.
It is your fault that you totally messed up this thread with your irrational outbursts and hostility, and lashing out, and total bizarreness, especially for someone that just signed up.
Too bad, I like the topic, and have posted two threads on her myself in the past.
