Things have to get a lot worse before we'd get a 2/3 vote in the Senate. I could see the House bringing the case, but not the Senate carry-through. Too many Dem loyalists.
Sadly, most Dems are anti democracy and welcome rule by executive order. IMO, they would go along with the abolition of congress if assured that 0 was President for life, or only a Democrat could hold the office.
I have had that said to me in so many words by Democrats.
Time to wake up. Even now, many conservatives and probably all "independents" and moderates don't realize that even a massive Republican victory in November could very well do nothing to stall these fascists; that the country is very close to the point where armed resistance could be the only defense against this tyranny.
Not kidding folks. And I am damn sure not exaggerating.
