Notorious Democrat gaffe machine Joe Biden (and also current vice president) says he wants to strangle Republicans who have the nerve to tell him about balancing the federal budget. Biden was blurting out at a Democrat fundraising event in Dayton, Minnesota, late yesterday when he "let slip" a desire that many would see as being beneath the office of the vice president. Biden is notorious for unloading such gaffes, and he is certainly more knownin a very disreputable lightfor what he lets slip out of his mouth than for anything that hes actually accomplished as vice president in almost two years. Biden tried to excuse his possible Freudian slip by claiming it was only a joke (good one, sir!), yet he clearly added this somewhat unbelievable explanation only after he noticed the inconvenient presence of all the media outlets that were covering the event.

I just love seeing the caring & tolerance the democRATS preach in action.
Hey, Plugs!
It’s such a pretty day outside! Why don’t you go play in heavy traffic?
Or maybe hand-feed the tigers down at the national Zoo?
What Budget???
The Democrats havn’t got the balls to even bring up the subject.
Biden - the token white guy that obama needed to push him over the top. Another useful idiot who has outlived is usefulness and will probably be replaced as VP if obama is not in prison in 2012.
You...have...the...White Crib, you...have...the...House, and you...have...the...Senate. Who...is...to...blame, Joe?
The media will dismiss this statement with a smile claiming:
“It’s just Joe being Joe. No worries”
biden is the ultimate “bucket of warm spit”. VP ultimate FAIL!
Obama sent Joe on a suicide mission to tout the “recovery.” He is perfect for the job. We are accustomed to idiotic remarks from this guy.
As a gaffe, this one’s pretty weak. While I acknowledge that if stated by a conservative about Obama, racism charges would be plastered all over the place, Biden’s statement is merely a figure of speech. I was surprised to wake up to this getting so much attention.
I love that graph. It would be great to see unemployment numbers on the other axis.
Joe Biden reminds me of the old philosophy class saw about “if a tree falls in the forest, and no one is there to hear it, did it make a noise?” If Joe puts his foot in his mouth again, and the obsequious media happily ignore it, did he actually commit a gaffe?
