I make a chili that has lots of ground beef, green bell peppers, onions, kidney beans and chili powder. Everyone seems to like it, but I once entered a chili competition at work and the consensus seemed to be that, while good, it was very unusual.

Exactly how I make mine. Then I serve it up with a little grated cheddar, sour cream and tortilla chips.

I just converted my home cooked pinto/kidney bean soup into home made chilli last night.

Yummy.
So easy to make a pot of beans even with time constraints.

I just don’t get how people now a days can eat prepared food from the grocery store.

Home made is really quite simple and tasty.

No tomatoes?

What sets my chili apart would be putting some stewed tomatoes, cilantro, jalapenos, celery, and lime juice in the blender. This gives a deep, full, but also very fresh flavor.
