For the record, Delaware Senate candidate Christine ODonnell did not take classes at Englands Oxford University. But the tea party-backed Republican, who has hit snag after snag since defeating Rep. Mike Castle in this months GOP primary, faced questions for the third consecutive day about her education credentials posted on Internet resume sites.

Asking for the truth isn't whining. She wants to work for us. We don't work for her. She owes us the truth. She has no right to lie about ANYTHING. Joe Miller can get elected in Alaska by standing tall, staying true to himself and standing on principle. I demand the same out of O'Donnell, and am not willing to let her off the hook because she has a pretty face.
You have nothing positive to contribute with your complaining.
How about you find another Senate race to focus on, where you can be a positive influence.
Let others worry about this one.
Go. Shooh.
Conservative don't lie for people or try to cover up the short-comings of candidates who lie. I know that, apparently others who claim to be conservatives do not.
What part of transparent do you think you aren't. Get lost!
Stalin would be proud. (I guess if you don't toe the line exactly, you must be silenced?)
Hey NYT,we neither asked for nor require your approval of a candidate.Just go away quietly please.
Is lying ok?
Run a better candidate in 6 years. The ship has sailed. Left the dock. Headed for the horizon. Plan for the future.
As Reagan once said, “trust, but verify”.
Is there any evidence that she actually claimed she went to Oxford? I see nothing of it. We have a duty as conservatives not to parrot lies and slander.
What is your DU screen name?
Stalin? Seriously? You sound EXACTLY like a liberal. Starting to look like you are.
You’re certainly not posting to help anyone.
Don’t go away huffy. Just go away.
If so proceed to Question 2, for Non-GOPers skip this one and go to Question 2
Question 2: Will she vote the right way
Seems to me she will
You are campaigning against her, you just tried to steer dollars away from one of her donors.
It is her or Coons at this point, if you have suddenly found out that she is no longer acceptable to you, then it is too late to campaign for a replacement, unless Coons is now your choice, all you can do is to stay silent and move on.
No. it’s not OK. I for one, don’t think the ends justify the means. She’s been padding her resume since Day 1 and, especially in matters relating to education, that is not OK with me. I hate liars.
She’s no worse than near any multitude of ‘Rats. Maybe she went to the Joe Bite-me school of DE Senate Candidates. Why not apply the logic of the Castle Castle and say: “At least she’ll vote for the GOP leadership”?
I actually agree with you. She already has more than $2m. I wish her well, and really hope she win, but the are other races that need our helps more at this moment. Miller, for instance, still put only $450K as a target to raise, while Murkowski sits on $1m Republican money. Raese is in the verge of flipping the seat previously held by Byrd. Angle is really close in her race.
This may not be a popular suggestion here, but I'd say if people have extra money to donate, give to other candidates that need more at this moment. Not only in senate races but also in House races (e.g., Duffy in WI, Dold in IL).
There is only on conservative in that race, that is Christine. It looks like you’re campaigning against her so that the bearded marxist can win.
No they don’t. But the Coons character is not ONLY a liar, but also a marxist. If I voted in DE, it would be for Christine, over broken glass. Resume embellishment hasn’t given the marxists pause. At a minimum, we shouldn’t agitate for her defeat.
That is less the point than what COD is claiming as educational accomplishments. She needs to hire someone to do a complete scrub of her background documentation and clear up any inconsistencies. I want her to win and have donated to her campaign, but she's allowed a narrative to emerge about a perceived lack of integrity. She needs to fix it... fast.
She’s running, the primary is OVER! You are transparent.
Trying to defend yourself/your actions on this conservative site is really obnoxious.
If it were my site, you would be banned. Save your “liberal talking points” for someone as clueless as you are.
