Including Creator would assume that he both knows what the Declaration says and that he agrees that those rights flow from God.
Given those two circumstances, why would we assume he would include Creator? He clearly doesn’t believe one or both of them.
and we’re going to give everybody opportunity, everybody a ladder into the middle class,
sounds like more of his spread the wealth , social justice rhetoric
But he still used the word “endowed”, which presumes that those rights don’t just exist within us. He’s not walking the tightrope very well.
