US Senate candidate and Congressman Joe Sestak (D-Pennsylvania) decided to skip a debate against Republican Pat Toomey Monday night. Rather than take the stage and defend his record of support for the Obama agenda, Representative Sestak claimed he had a scheduling conflict and chose to attend a Pittsburgh fundraiser with Senator John Kerry (D-Massachusetts) and his wife Teresa Heinz instead.

How's that hope and change thing workin' out for ya!
What a coward - if you get elected to office and stand for re-election, you have a civic and moral duty to explain your past actions in the legislature.
What a pu-zee.
Funny how Lurch claims that the only reason Americans are favoring Republicans is because they are uninformed, yet Democratic candidates all over the country are the one ducking debates, you would think that would be the best opportunity to inform the public?
Our instate lib pundit Terry Madonna came out today and said the Gov race is all but lost for the Dims and the Senate race not much better. Toomey is really killing him with Sleazetaks own record with TV ads. A debate would only make him have to defend his record or run away from it.
Either way he is better off fund-raising to get SEIU and Black Panther activists to work in Pitt and Philthy getting the dead vote out.
I can not remember any time in PA where the GOP had this type of lead in polls before an election. Even if the Repub won he was always in a tight race.
Sestak might be called in the next congress to testify under oath about buying the WH buying a ‘certain’ seat.
But here in 'Pennsylvania Dutch Country', a liberal like Sestak will have a hard time convincing folks that he isn't part of the problem.
And hanging out with Kerry won't help him any!
That my friends... is a COWARD!
LLS
I only eat Hunts.

When he has lost the election he can raise chickens. He’ll fit right in with them, he could even talk to them on their level.
Sestak is damned without a doubt in my opinion, his actions are unforgivable.
I hope he is happy now...
Man I miss Registereds work.
Or was it a job interview for Heinz Katsup.

PERFECT! What a great candidate! LOL!
A chickensh!t demorat! Who knew?
Toomey’s ads are spot on. When Sestak tried to play the ‘served in the military’ angle Toomey came back with a great ad that ‘yes, he served honorably’ but his serving in Washington hasn’t been so great. Sestak’s Wall Street ads are just like every other Democrat ad I see around here. They think putting that Wall St. sign up by a candidates photo is enough. The Dems are really doing a pathetic job.
I’m sure Toomey will jump on Sestak not showing up.
Yah, ‘he served honorably until the Navy demoted him a rank and fired his arse. Good thing he’s out of the Navy we already have a coward as CIC.
