When the Tea Party first started out, I was a enthusiastic supporter.. The Tea Party perfectly represented what my views are.. I'm a 100% fiscal conservative and I believe in small government on ALL issues. In the beginning, the Tea Party seemed to be such movement that would support candidates based on FISCAL issues. Initially, that was the case and people like Scott Brown have been elected. However, since then, it seems like the Tea Party Express and other Tea Party organizations have been hijacked by the social conservative wing of the GOP (i.e. Sarah Palin). Social issues were introduced to the movement which has turned people away who also support small government on personal/social issues and not just exclusively small government on fiscal issues. While we all (meaning Tea Party supporters/activists) agree on fiscal issues, there are a variety of views on social issues and introducing social issues to the Tea Party was not a good idea. Recent Tea Party Express endorsements have been exclusively for hardcore social conservatives who support "big government" on social issues. As I'm personally supporting small government on ALL issues (other than those mandated by the constitution - i.e. national defense and border security), I can no longer identify with the candidates who are being endorsed by the Tea Party express as people like Sharon Angle and Christine O'Donnell are clearly supporting a big government role in controlling peoples personal/social lifes. It would be sad if the Tea Party would continue on that path instead of supporting small government on all issues, or at least stay away from social issues Most people in this country are SICK of government control of their lifes.. Most people don't want government to control their money and their personal/social lifes. They don't want to pick and choose on what part of their lifes are controlled by the government!
Wish I could move to Battle Creek so I could vote for Walberg, I live in Kzoo, where we have to choose between Cooney and RINO upton.
Me, too.
But thanks for the ping anyway.
But just for kicks....
You Sir are a comic of genius.
The re nomination of Walberg is a good lesson for the GOP. As far as I know, he’s the only former congressman to be nominated in the anti incumbant environment and he did it by a very wide margin. Something like 45,000 votes to 25,000 votes for his nearest challenger.
Zot party? We’re all here for it. IATZ.
No. It’s a grand example of anti-troll rebuttal. Tradition!
You called it, and that account has been banninated.
I looked at the posts on the account - it had all the signs of a long-term troll account. Very few posts separated by years.
Thanks for the ping!
Cringing Negativism Network called out this troll poseur before me.
This thread is such pure anti-conservative propaganda. There are no conservative positions (fiscal or social) that seek to have a big government role in controlling peoples lives. The accusations made by this poster are bogus. It is in effect the complete opposite. It is those that oppose conservative positions on so-called social issues like abortion and gay rights that are the ones who want a big-government role in dictating morality to the people. The conservative position has always been to leave it up to the People and the States and it those that oppose this position are who want the Courts to dictate a perverse morality of disrespect for Life and to punish those who do not accept sexual perversions as being protected over all other moral positions.
This poster is just another of the phony conservatives who want to dictate that the TEA party must accept social Marxism as long as it is blended with fiscal conservatism. This is no different than the position that has poisoned the Republican party for years upon years and brought us so many RINOS who sell us out at every turn. The entire myth of social / fiscal conservatism is simply a means of division among the TEA party. Issues such as abortion and gay rights are fiscal issues and issues of Constitutionally limited government. The TEA party has stood for Constitutional limited government since it was first founded and have always opposed the abuse of power by progressives in using the Courts to dictate morality to the people.
Yer makin' me cry.... I *love* you, man....
Come, let's cuddle.
What happened to the Zot Party?
Here kitty-kitty.... You have food waiting.
An autumn day, in an over-cast September;Paul Simon was a genius ;-)
You are alone, gazing from your mother's basement
On a freshly fallen pile of pizza boxes.
You got the Zot, You are a DU-uh-a-me.You've built walls, a fortress of empty boxes
That none may penetrate except for mommy.
You have no friends; it's known you are insane
You laugh at others pain, except for mommy.
You got the Zot, You are a DU-uh-a-me..
Very nice! I’m afraid it will be lost on the young ones here.
The interesting thing is that this account was opened on 9-27-07 and this vanity was posted three years later to the day. Sounds like a sleeper troll.
Look up the law of the mis-placed middle.
