Have you ever listened to an argument made plausible by the clever rhetoric of a person skilled in public speaking? How about attending one of those time share sales meetings where you know something is not quite right but you just cant put your finger on it? In the end, you reject the sales pitch not because of their failure to be persuasive or factual but because deep down inside you know intuitively that somehow what they are pitching cant possibly be correct and more importantly will separate you from your money. Intuition, which many call the sniff test is an important part of a healthy self- defense mechanism that protects many of us from being conned by fast-talking hucksters even though we cant articulate exactly what our objection is. We dont know where the faulty logic begins but we sure know what a faulty conclusion looks like by life experience or effect.

well, you never heard the term “wooden-tongued devil,” did you?
This is an excellent article that explains the fallacies of Democrat economic policies in a very easy to understand manner. It clearly shows how the Stimulus spending has made things worse not better and how it is not possible to have done anything other than that.
Looks like an interesting article. Too bad the overly busy page, with a thousand links and headers, won’t display one word of it on my mobile device. Why do people design sites like this. Ever seen Google’s home page?
Or words like ‘’flim-flam’’ bullsh!t malarkey etc. Amazing though how it’s like P.T. Barnum said about ‘’suckers being born every minute. There was a whole load of them that bought the Obama flim-flam.
don’t forget “bamboozle.”
Yes, that one. And ‘’talking through your hat’’. “Pull the wool over your eyes’’.
And ‘hooey’’. Love that line from all those ‘30’s films i.e., ‘’ Listen brother, “that’s a load of hooey’’. “Where do ya get that stuff?’’
Thanks!
