What ever happened to that story about someone in Il politics challebging Obama’s desire to run for president. supposedly he told Obama he was not qualified to run because he wasn’t an American born citizen and Obama replied “so what”. I have seen it at least twice but no one ever found the source and investigated it.
Another one of those bogus things floating around in this whole mess. The accusation was that it came up during a Keyes/Obama debate but even Keyes and his campaign manager denied it ever happened.
This probably is a good reflection why Rush doesn’t approach the subject- there is far too much BS floating around on this from all sides.
It was from what I’ve read during a debate between Alan Keyes and 0thugga when they were running for Senator. It was in between the official debate times.
Keyes apparently said something about 0thugga not being a natural born citizen even and 0thugga said “I’m not running for President so it doesn’t matter”.
A few people heard it on CNN but no one that I have read on FR has found the tape of it.
