I guess the right thing to do is give him a pass and not call it a political stunt. The dilemma for the _resident though is that now he has to keep going lest he confirm by future action that it was a stunt.

The RIGHT thing to do is to call it what it is. There is none so blind than those who refuse to see. That's what got us in this mess.

Just wait. Next week there will be something else to distract the public from his whereabouts on Sunday. The 'general public's focus' loses interest/memory of most events within two weeks, if not propped up by stories in the media.

Remember the BIGGEST FIND OF OIL in the GULF, followed by the SAFEST RIG IN THE GULF (Deepwater Horizon II), followed by the WORST DISASTER in HISTORY for oil spills in the GULF ?

Most barely mention even the oil rig explosion lately, and no one has even asked, "What about recovering the rig and the dead bodies on the DH II ?"

Those dead men/women are gone and forgotten, it would seem.
