Written by hundreds of the Grassroots leaders, this book humanizes the movement, a must read for skeptics and critics of the Tea Party phenomenon.
The foreword section of the book (70 pages) uncovers astounding similarities between the Tea Party Movement of the 1770s and today’s movement. These similarities are categorized into; Political, Economic and Subversive Actions.
“Forget what you hear in the media, if you want to know what this movement is really all about, read this book!”
Tom A. Tillison - Tea Party Leader
“Pundits would analyze the movement from the outside, rarely able to agree on what was happening on the inside. I always found it humorous that no one would come inside the movement and talk to those who were heavily involved before forming opinions. Well, they were all wrong. The Tea Party is the epitome of an organic grassroots movement, so de-centralized some may consider it a fault. It consists of people like me, your average moms and dads, business men and laborers, the unemployed and the overworked, the young and trendy, the old and traditional.”
Lesley Hollywood - Tea Party Leader
“As a Tea Party Organizer I have felt more connected to my America than ever before. For so long I felt somewhat alone in my frustration and anger at how our nation was heading in a self-destructive path. There were times that I felt I may be crazy because of the strong emotion and dedication I felt to fighting for our Republic. I felt as though I could relate to our founding fathers and the emotions they experienced. I felt in my heart that I was taking part in something so much larger than myself, something historical and legendary. Yet, it was never about “me”. Everything that I have done for the Tea Party Movement was because I felt a magnificent calling to do what is right and what is just, not only for my children and grandchildren, but for all future generations. I have been more humbled and more proud in the last couple of years, much like when I was a child saluting the American Flag while singing our nation’s anthem. It is a feeling that I find difficult to explain when asked why I am involved. Tea Party: The Awakening has provided just that, a means of explanation. I cannot thank Brent Morehouse enough for taking the time to get to know us and the revolutionary movement sweeping across this great nation. I pray that this book will enlighten every reader who lays their eyes upon its pages. I pray that this will indeed go down in the history books for our grandchildren to realize that freedom can never be taken for granted, nor our civil liberties. We must protect our Republic and Brent Morehouse has created an energy within his book to call more troops to the field. Thank you Brent!”

E.J. Dionne ... called the defeat of the unreliably republican Mike Castle "the final collapse of the Republican Party not only of Nelson Rockefeller and Tom Dewey, but also of Bob Dole and Howard Baker."
Wow!
Why does it say 09/12/09 on the top of the 8/28 time lapse?
She WAS referring to 9/12/09.

September 14, 2009
9/12 was a transformative event
"Sometimes an event occurs which is transformative in a way that everyone who sees it or participates in it instantly is aware of. Yesterday's demonstration in Washington DC is one of those rare happenings in my opinion.
The Daily Mail said 2 million Americans participated. My friend Charlie Martin extrapolated from the pictures an attendance figure of 2.3 million. Here is a time lapse of the parade portion of the event so you can get a feel for yourself of the size of the crowd. Whatever the actual number it is sure to be seriously underestimated by the Obama-besotted members of the press corps who are also likely to misrepresent the participants and their views."

It could have been better set off with italics or division lines to separate it from this piece. Sorry for the mischaracterization.
If they stomp the RATS in Nov. it is important to know that it’s going to take many many more stompings than just one, or else thet’ll be right back pushing the socialist/marxist line. This needs to go on for 20 or more yrs. till the current crop of RATS/RINOS die off or are long retired.
ping.
On Tuesday Tea Party candidate Paladino won in a LANDSLIDE (62 to 37 %)

WOW!! I didn’t know that. It’s an astounding win.
Last year I wrote that the Tea Party demonstration in Washington was a "transformative event," and I described it through the eyes of a participant... 2 million Americans participated... 2.3 million... the attendees were wonderful people, civil and polite. They showed their respect for the Capitol and the event by leaving no mess behind when they were through, in marked contrast to the inauguration and the usual left wing demonstrations here.
