I love my Mosin Nagants!
I still only have five 91/30s, and two M44s, though.
(Hangs head in shame.)

A lot of bang for the buck......... cheap ammo too. Paid < $100 for my 91/30 several years ago.

It not that inaccurate, I shoot roughly 3 inch group at 100 yards with my mosin 91/30. That is good enough to hit a man-sized target.
The rifle is a very good bargain considering the ammo is also cheap.

I paid $110 for one a couple of months ago. They are cool. I also got 440 rounds for $90 when I bought it.

Kewl.......... I bought the scope mout but have yet to actually mount a scope. Beware, however, of aftermarket muzzle brakes. I bought one (cheap) at a gunshow. It is a twist/lock setup with a lock screw.
It blew up in my face, cut up my right eye area, stitches, etc., but didn’t harm the rifle. And, yeah, I was wearing saftey glasses which were desroyed.

I paid $100 for my newest one. Took it out of the box, cleaned it up, and then trashed 10 bottles with 10 shots at 50 yards with no adjustments.
I stepped back to 100 yards and broke five bottles with six shots. I flinched on my third shot.
I find that they have very little recoil next to the Garand and they weigh much less than the Garand (apples and oranges I guess). They are a blast to just shoot for the fun of it. No pun intended.
