Comedian Bill Maher uses N-word, gets star on Hollywood Walk of Fame (see video)
On Thursday, the same day he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, comedian Bill Maher appeared on Larry Kings CNN show and dropped the N-word.
To put Mahers comment in context, he was discussing his thoughts about the upcoming GOP debates to take place prior to the 2012 presidential election, which will likely include Sarah Palin and Newt Gingrich.
"How are they going to out fire-breathe each other? I mean where this rhetoric has gone to at this point? It's only 2010. And we're having Newt Gingrich, as we were talking about before, calling [the president] an anti-colonial Lao tribesman. Lao tribesman," Maher said.
Maher continued "That's the new Kenyan, Larry. And Kenyan, of course, was code for N*****. But that's where they are. They can't say it out loud. But that's where this whole campaign is going to be."
One accomplishment for Obama: he’s made it increasingly acceptable to use the “n-word”. People no longer care.
