Karl Rove: No hard feelings with Rush Limbaugh over Christine O’Donnell
The Daily Caller ^ | 9-17-10 | Alex Pappas

Karl Rove says there are no hard feelings between him and radio host Rush Limbaugh over his own outspoken comments on Delaware’s Republican Senate candidate, Christine O’Donnell.

“None at all,” Rove wrote in an e-mail to The Daily Caller, in response to a question about Limbaugh’s criticism of his remarks. “He is a very good friend for whom I have enormous respect and affection.”

The former Bush aide, who recently served as a substitute host on Limbaugh’s show, riled up conservatives this week with open skepticism of O’Donnell. Rove expressed concerns about the “nutty things she has been saying,” as well as her electability against Democrats in November.

Tokyo Rove can’t afford to have hard feelings against Rush.

You have cut your own throat politically. No one is going to take you seriously any longer

Just watched Rove yammer on about how Christine O’Donnell has something wrong with her, since she didn’t pop in the polls after winning the primary. He’s still talking her down through the side of his mouth.

Rove needs Rush, not the other way around. I wonder if he’ll ever get to guest host again?

Sorry Rove, you may as well go away now.

You are dead politically. No one is going to take you seriously any longer. You tied the noose around your neck the other night on Hannity and by continuing your slanderous attack on O'donnell you have sawed off the limb you were standing on.

Rove, you may twitch for a while longer you are all ready dead politically

The daily attempt to trash O'Donnell by Rove and the GOP Establishment in order to “discredit Palin and Demint” is really stupid tactics.

If she loses, EVERYONE on in the Conservative base of the GOP as who is going to point at Rove and his propaganda drones as who is to blame

If she wins, everyone is going to remember that the GOP Establishment lead by Rove did their best to sabotage her.

Rove and the GOP Establishment mouthpieces face either ostracism from the Conservative base of the GOP as traitors or ostracism from the Conservative base of the GOP as irrelevant, non-credible cretins.

So either way the Roveites here are creating a lose-lose position for themselves with their daily trash talking about O’Donnell

If Rush ever has that fat eunuch Rove subbing for him again, I will know that Rush doesn't stand for anything. I hope that will not be the case.

If Limbaugh has Rove sub, no one would listen. Rove is a dead duck to the Tea Party people. Speaking of a Patriot, here is Patriot Christine vs Marxist Coon..

What about Hannity? He’s being very careful to say as little as possible about his friend Rove. Don’t get me wrong. I love Sean, but Rove has caused great consternation. You would think he could just shut up now.

If somebody polled freepers and asked “Which person do you dislike more, Karl Rove or Meghan McCain” who would win?

Rush would commit career suicide to have Rove sub again.

Well the RNC is thinking hard about this whole situation. I received in the mail today a contribution request from them with a cover letter from Sarah Palin.

I agree. The worst of it for him is that in the light of his little tantrum, we can look back at some of the disastrous political decisions GW made and see Rove's fingerprints. Or, rather, Rove's general gutlessness.

Rove is a good chess player. Sometimes politics is chess and he's your man. But sometimes its hockey, and he's still trying to play chess.

But his biggest problem is that for him its a game. If the game advances a political principle, fine, great, but if the political principle gets in the way of the game he gets impatient with all this nonsense about principles.

The biggest problem I have with Rove's meltdown on Tuesday is that, in hindsight, it was so unnecessary.

Rove was upset that O'Donnell's defeat of Castle is what put the Senate out of reach of Republicans. Hoever, if Rove had waited just two more days for Rasmussen's Washington state poll to come out, Rove would have learned that Patty Murray surged ahead of Dino Rossi, also taking Washington away from Republicans and putting the Senate TWO seats down.

So, here we are at the end of the week where Rove could blame EITHER Rossi or O'Donnell for "losing" the Senate.

It's not all on O'Donnell's shoulders anymore.

What a load of crap. He’s no deader than Rubio for opposing the Arizona immigration bill or Tom Tancredo for supporting drug legalization. Not everyone is as short sighted as you and the Falcon malcontents.

Rove. McCain is just an embarrassing twit. Rove is actively working as an unpaid campaign agent for the enemy now.
