Krauthammer: DeMint and Palin Need to Get O’Donnell Elected Since They Got Her Nominated – Video

Here is video of Charles Krauthammer on with Bill O’Reilly tonight, where he said he believes there is a “1 in 10″ chance Christine O’Donnell will win the November Election to the U.S. Senate in Delaware.

Krauthammer said it is “a huge mistake” to jeopardize the Delaware Senate seat by nominating Christine O’Donnell over Mike Castle. Krauthammer’s contention is that it’s all about control of the Senate – whether you would rather have the GOP setting the agenda, or Harry Reid / Chuck Schumer as Majority Leader.

Krauthammer challenged Jim DeMint and Sarah Palin – whom he said got her nominated – to go to Delaware and help her get elected in November.

“Now show me,” Krauthammer said, about DeMint and Palin. He also said he hopes he is wrong, because the GOP needs Delaware to take control.

It is incredibly naive to believe that in a 51-49 GOP/DEM split that Castle wouldn't jump to the Democrats. If Ms O'Donnell never darkens the door of the Senate chambers she has done the party and the country a great service by facilitating Congressman Castles’ exit from politics.

Considering the timing of Mitt’s O’Donnell endorsement, I guess he’ll have to head down to help after the election is already over, but better late than never.

Is all this Rove/Krauthammer/Mittbot stuff really necessary? Do people really buy into that silly article yesterday that said Mitt would benefit for 2012 by O’Donnell losing?

Hasn’t Mitt done enough damage without jeopardizing this election too?

If we are not aggressive, I fear we will water down the groundswell inertia. If we do a numbers thing (like Rush talked about today when opining on Rove) we may win but there will always be those legislators on the edge who can be bought and could defect.

We have to make the strongest statement we can.

Not only does Charles K. need to join ‘Turd Blossom’ in the sand box, Free Republic needs to provide funds for GOP LADY to join them.

I believe Palin and Demint will campaign for her and I think Mr. Coons needs to stop and think before he ‘assumes his Senate seat’...things change over night and this race will tighten up.
