Did you not see the Certificate of Release of Federal Tax Lien? It is posted as well. I can’t figure out where you think she still owes taxes.

The February 8 letter states she is due additional relief and they’d like to have it wrapped up by the first week of March. If they still hadn’t figured out in the Feb letter how much relief she was due on the first document submittal she made and they were requesting additional documents there’s no way they correctly issued a lien by March. It sounds as if someone flagged a date in the IRS computer that corresponded to the first week of March (as noted in the letter) and mistakenly they issued a lien based upon their original claim on that wrap up date.

Mr. McNichols said he was under the gun to get this wrapped up by early March and it sounds like somehow a lien was issued while negotiations were ongoing.. They did finally negotiate a settlement and it sounds like she paid what was negotiated on May 16, 2010. The release was dated May 19.

How do you figure the issue isn’t resolved?

It's a fuzzy mess, the edge of the page doesn't line up with the text is the document. Is there a clearer version?

Hey, if so, then why not leave it posted? It's pretty fuzzy overall... Interesting, too, because there's nothing there about the IRS making an error, and while she blacked-out her address (street only - not the city or ZIP), she left here SSN...

Why don't you go take the axe you have to grind and go chop some trees down.

Sorry, I thought holding conservatives to conservative principles - paying your legally due taxes, claiming degrees that you actually have received - was important. Apparently not to everyone.

If you spent have your energy supporting good candidates as you do wasting time with this IRS issue, it might help.

And I'm doing just that, working to get Patty Murray and Jay Inslee tossed out. You?

You?

I spend a lot of time complaining about politicians lying and paying taxes on Free Republic. Other than that, I don't do much of anything.

I have no idea why it’s still not posted. Her website may be undergoing an upgrade. The only thing I see now is her fundraising page so I’m guessing they’re busy updating things due to her primary victory.

Are you still claiming the issue isn’t resolved?

I hope so! She's got tons of money, she should have a webmaster working on it right this very second...

Are you still claiming the issue isn’t resolved?

I'm feeling better about it, but given that it's not published anywhere - and not been reported in the news - she's letting that claim hang out there. NOT a good move.

She's throwing the election away by her inaction on this... The first rule of getting conservatives elected is to GET ELECTED. It means addressing issues like this directly, forthrightly, and completely. Not making a claim on your blog, and tearing it down without anything released to the news media.

One thing to keep in mind is she ran her primary on a shoestring. I think Castle outspent her by roughly 5 to 1. If I recall he spent about 1.5 mill and she just a little over 300k. She had very little left maybe 20k at the end.

She’s really raking it in now at over 1.26 mill as I type but that’s all in the last 36 hours.

Oh, I know she had nothing, and now had tons! Just totally flummoxed why she’d yank a blog post that supposedly addressed one of the big marks against her...

She’s either not too savvy, or she’s got some REALLY bad advisors.

She didn’t receive her diploma until she paid. For years she claimed she was a graduate, yet had no degree. Part of being an adult is owing up to your responsibilities, and that’s what Christine didn’t do.

Who do you support again...I missed it

REPUBLICAN Sharon Angle is more conservative than REPUBLIAN O’donnel.

Angle is for abolishing the Dept. of Education, privatizing Social Security and abolishing other government agencies.

And of course Angle is more conservative than any democrat/socialist like the marxist villain she is facing, Harry Reid.

This is the important race. Democrat/Marxist Reid must be defeated. We all who love freedom and America concentrate all our efforts on helping Angle first.

The government schools must be abolished. Get rid of the EPA, FDA,FEC,FCC ,NASA etc. deport illegals. Put the military on the border.

The democrat party and the liberal media are the threat. Name one democrat politician that is for anything good like abolishing a government agency or deporting illegals. There are none as all democrats are marxist villians.

Government/socialism doesn't work, government is the problems and the enemy of the people.

Sharon Angle is a good one, no doubt. If the media is talking about Christine and Christine is raising a lot of money - and she is - that means that the Dems will either have to raise a whole lot of money to beat Christine or just realize they’re gonna lose and skip it. D’s should make sure they don’t get swept. What about that Dr. in Maryland? He could beat Barbara M. Maryland is the same amount of Liberal as DE. Barbara M has been in Washington DC as either a US Rep or a US Senator since the 1970s I believe. She’s 74 now.
If you think we’re on the wrong track, point right at her, she’s been in Washington DC steering for 35 years. Dems better protect her. Protect Gillibrand. If Roco (pronounced Rock er) the Philipino dude wins tomorrow, watch out 86 year old Inouye.

The Dems can hold onto 4 seats if they try hard enough. Schumer I think’ll win still. I don’t know anything about the opponent. Kara DioGuardi from American Idol - her dad is running against Gillibrand. But if the Dems try hard enough, they could hold that seat. I don’t know much about the Maryland doctor. Doctors are often skilled people. Intelligent. If this is any type of medical doctor, people will like that. Barbara M. is so old. Could win, could lose, will need a lot of money. Remember, there could be no debates. And then, boom, a whole bunch of money which is spent immediately. Friday - broke. Saturday - 1,000,000. Sunday - airwaves flooded with ads. It could be shortened.
Anyway, Schumer probably is the safest. The D’s might not need to spend anything there. But the other 3 are probably wins for the D’s that easily could go to the R with a last minute tv blitz with money that comes from nowhere.

The D’s keep between 1 and 4 seats. There might be some other races that I’d put in with the Ds.

When Christine makes her own money, the GOP can give Angle money. The tea party races are the good ones, the ones we want to win, and Angle is right there near the top of the tea party pack.

I’m actually getting a little less libertarian over the last few weeks or months.

There’s a libertarian belief that most pollution problems can be solved with lawsuits.

Pollution is not what it used to be. You used to be able to see it, smell it, tell what it was, and where it came from, and what the effects are or were. You know who did it, and you could sue them.

The EPA and FDA do have valid rationales. Would the FDA be the ones who can say NO GMO? I really want to be able to avoid GMO. What about plastic in food containers containing estrogen? I want my soda in glass bottles please. And I know that I’m sounding even to myself like a nanny stater and I don’t like it.

I just want to be able to buy natural food. Not that I’ll do it all the time, but I want the option to be there, easily, to people who really want it. I don’t want to eat potatoes with a gene spliced in from a bacteria. I just don’t and there either a ban on GMO, especially the gene spliced kind, or a labeling system that’s capable of being understood.

I was a lawyer back in the day, well, technically I still am, and when I was in law school we were talking about the various types of rationales for laws. Usually that’s just mumbo jumbo to get you thinking that crazy is normal, but one idea did sound reasonable to me. Laws are there as a remedy for unequal power in a bargaining arrangement. The individual consumer is powerless. No labeling requirements? Wow, a consumer with an allergy has a tough row to hoe.

Now, all of these agencies which do have a point all have been epic fail for years. They have been captured by the industries they regulate and instead of being on the side of the little guy, who they’re supposed to protect, they’re on the side of the GMO seed dealer and they’re going out of their way to put restrictions on wholesome natural food. Regulation of Farmers Markets. Restrictions on raw milk.
Paperwork for roadside stands. Instead of saying “get rid of the FDA” we can say the FDA needs to have everyone fired.
It has to stop listening to Monsanto and ADM and start listening to the people. And you read through mind numbing reg after reg, figuring out how it’s screwing the little guy and helping Monsanto and ADM, changing the law to where it should be.

Education: kids can learn to read on the internet. Everythings there. No school sleep in. If you want, we can give you a test every so often. There can still be a school if you want to go, but they’re expensive, and the people would rather give you a laptop and a cable modem. $2200 - $1200 a year for the triple play and a pretty decent $1000 laptop. I coulda skipped high school at least.

FEC is power disparity again. FCC is scarce resources and their allocation. The airwaves are scarce so the government has to allocate them. Cable can be as dirty as it wants to be. No FCC, no allocation of scarce resources, no broadcasting using the public airwaves. They put down that cable and they can put anything they want through it. No doubt cable co’s can be dicks, and they do have a monopoly in given markets, which is often granted at the local level.

The FCC also is involved with setting rules with the 900 2.4 and 5.8. 2.4 is wifi. FCC needs to allow high power wifi hotspots. There should be, if there isn’t already, a waiver process for rural wifi providers to up the wattage on the routers. You get fiber to the top of Cadillac Mountain. You have a building with a computer or computers and a router and or routers and an array of directional antennas.
From that mountain, with a powerful antenna, and a more powerful than currently allowed amplifier. I think it’s 33db for the amp now? That’s 2 watts? Anyway, the entire coastline of downeast maine could get blazing fast wifi. I’m talking people on boats 300mbps Wireless N. Any tall mountain has a powerful signal. Point your powerful antenna at the powerful signal on the mountain and you’re good. Free. Government pays for it. It’s like a road. The QoS will be not so good. It’ll be fast, but sometimes when it’s rainy it’ll go out, whatever. It’s free. It allows anyone anywhere in the middle of the woods to make a living on the internet. A shack, a wood stove, a solar panel, in stream water, gorlov turbine, and 300mbps wireless for free.

We shouldn’t be depopulating the wilderness. With technology people can work there. They can grow food and make money on the internet. Anyway, you mentioned abolishing FCC and those are some thoughts on FCC.

or she can't prove what she's saying? IF I had the truth on my side it would be news conference time, release of all proof etc.

If she wins I'm gonna be shocked
